A vampire!
Fallon’s heart began to race out of control, even more out of control than it had the moment she’d realized that she was turning into a werewolf. Everything she’d ever known as the truth, as natural laws and science were being turned on its head.
She shook her head, as if by doing so she could make it all undone. As if she could simply wish away the fact that her ex-boyfriend was a werewolf, and her current boyfriend—if she could call him that—was a vampire.
An instinct emerged with her new body that told her that she should be afraid of Patrick, see him as a natural enemy. Where this thought came from, she wasn’t sure, but she felt it in her bones as if it was a law written into her DNA. Fight or flight were her choices. But she remained frozen as if her feet were glued to the floor.
Yet something moved inside her: the beast, the wolf she could hear howling inside her, wanted to be unleashed and defend itself. But why? And how?
Her human side fought against it, but she knew she was losing the battle that raged inside her. She would attack him.
“I love you, Fallon, with all my heart.”
His words sank deep into her and lashed against the wolf.
Words formed in her head, and she spoke them without having made a conscious decision to speak. “You’re a vampire…”
“Yes,” he said calmly.
She watched him take another step toward her. She should run now, but her body didn’t follow her mind’s order, even though she knew that if she didn’t flee now, she would do horrible things to him. Things that the wolf inside her wanted. To bite, to tear into his flesh, to make him submit to her.
With more effort than it should take, she lifted her arm to stop him from coming closer. “I don’t want to hurt you.”
“You won’t.”
Her eyes were filled with unshed tears making her vision blurry. “You don’t understand: I want to bite you… And I can’t hold the urge back any longer.”
A growl coming from deep inside her followed her last word, and she knew she only had seconds left before she’d transform completely and lose control. She felt her skin stretch, her bones break and readjust, and stared at her arms, noticing the chestnut-colored hair growing thicker—no, not hair: fur! Fur started to cover her skin. Her tight T-shirt suddenly began to rip at the seams, making space for her new body. There was no suppressing it any longer.
“Fallon, look at me!” Patrick demanded.
She jerked her head in his direction and realized that he stood right in front of her now. The urge to dig her claws into him was more than she could bear.
“Bite me now, Fallon, do it!”
Had he really spoken, or was she projecting her own wishes onto him to justify what she was about to do?
“Run,” she whispered, though she didn’t know whether the command was directed at Patrick or meant for herself.
The word had barely left her lips when she pounced. With her front paws, she slammed Patrick backward, making him lose his balance. He landed with his back on the bed, and she was on top of him, her extremities in wolf form, the rest of her body still human, except for her mouth, from which sharp fangs protruded. She went for his neck, plunging her sharp canines into his flesh, lodging them deep so he couldn’t escape. He was her prey now, she the predator. As she bit him, and his blood filled her mouth, she was surprised that Patrick made no attempt to fight her. Instead, she felt his arms around her torso, pressing her to him, holding her so tightly that she felt as if she were his prey.
Oddly enough, that feeling forced her to relax, to let go of the tension. Suddenly, new sensations flooded her consciousness, sensations that were foreign. With them, she felt arousal charging through her. Patrick’s blood tasted sweet, not metallic like human blood. She couldn’t get enough of his taste, of the rich viscous liquid that he seemed to share so willingly.
“I love you, baby,” Patrick cooed, tearing the ripped T-shirt off her.
She let it happen, in fact, she welcomed it. She wanted this, wanted him. With her sharp claws, she began slicing his clothes into rags, tearing them impatiently, yanking them off until she could feel his naked skin. The moment her bare skin connected with his, she dislodged her fangs from his neck and lifted her head, rearing back.
She stared at the deep wound she’d caused and recoiled. Panic rose inside her, but before she could voice her regret and concern for his wellbeing, Patrick pushed against her and rolled her so she found herself on her back.
He braced himself above her, a few remaining shreds of his clothes hanging off his body, while he ripped her panties off her. She noticed that his hands were claws now too, and while that revelation would have frightened her in any other situation, she realized that she had nothing to fear. She wrapped her legs around his thighs, and drew him to her center. His hard-on connected with her skin, and an instant later, he plunged into her with such force that she was surprised that she felt no pain.
“Patrick!” she cried out. “Yes!”
“Fuck, you feel good, babe,” he responded, riding her as if somebody was chasing him.
He was wild and untamed, his cock relentless in its powerful thrusts, his tempo increasing with every second, his pelvis grinding against her center of pleasure, igniting her, arousing her, pleasuring her.
She dug her claws into his butt, forcing him deeper into her, demanding he ride her harder. In his eyes, eyes that had turned golden, she saw his desire, and the lust that was driving him.
“Kiss me,” he demanded, dipping his face to hers.
She wanted to push him back, afraid she might cut his face with her canines, when she realized that her fangs had retreated and turned back into normal teeth. She touched her lips, confirming that the wolf was gone.
“How?” she asked, staring at Patrick.
Continuing to thrust in and out of her, he brushed his lips over hers. “You’re in control now.” Not giving her a chance to reply, he captured her lips and kissed her.
Patrick delved deep into Fallon’s mouth, exploring her, tasting her, relieved that her transformation into her wolf form had reversed itself, and he was now able to kiss her. Not that he wouldn’t have made love to her if it hadn’t. Damn, he loved this woman with every fiber of his being, and nothing would stop him from showing her his love and devotion, even if it killed him. He trusted her, and his trust in her had been rewarded. And his vampire blood had done what he’d hoped it would do: spike her libido to subdue the wolf eager to come out on the first night of the full moon.
His neck wound was still bleeding, but it would mend on its own soon. If she were still human, he would have bitten her and taken her blood into him, and it would have healed him almost instantly. But he had no idea what werewolf blood would do to him, so he couldn’t risk it. For now, it sufficed to make love to her and show her that he wasn’t afraid of what she had become. Just like he had to show her that she could trust him, a vampire.
Her skin was soft and hairless again, her claws had turned back into fingers, and her pussy was welcoming him with its plentiful juices that made every slide into her like being cradled in a cocoon of silk.
Despite her inner wolf having retreated for now, he could feel it under the surface, ready to reemerge at any time. The full moon tonight made her volatile and unpredictable. He should heed the warning, yet he couldn’t. Fallon was full of fire, of passion, desire, of unbridled lust, and he wanted to bathe in that passion and fulfill her every desire.
Her body molded to his with such perfection that it felt as if they were one. They moved in sync as if they’d made love to each other hundreds of times. New lovers rarely found satisfaction together so easily. But between them, it was all instinct. Their bodies understood each other without words, as if they communicated on a different level that nobody else could perceive.
With every touch, every sigh, every movement, he felt his body fill with more pleasure than he’d ever thought was possible. Fallon’s skin was glowing, and he recognized that the glow was caused by the supernatural aura that engulfed her. He’d had sex with other supernatural women before, namely with vampires, but during sex, he’d never noticed their aura, maybe because it was like his own. But Fallon’s aura was different from his. While they made love, it seemed to change, to grow warmer, changing colors from a blue tone to a golden hue.
Her eyes seemed to shimmer in the same golden hue. Fascinated, he slowed his thrusts and locked eyes with her. He wanted to say something, wanted to tell her how close he felt to her. But he had no words to share his feelings, only his body to express what was in his heart.
“I know,” she murmured, replying to him as if she knew what he wanted to say.
Before he could wonder how this was possible, he felt her interior muscles squeeze his cock, trying to imprison him inside her. A moment later, the waves of her orgasm crashed into him out of nowhere, igniting his own climax. His cock spasmed, taking on a life of its own.
A groan tumbled over his lips, and he gave himself over to the intense pleasure that washed over him. He pumped his seed into her, and for a moment he wished that seed would take root. He continued moving in and out of her, riding out the waves of his orgasm. He was still aroused as if he’d been the one drinking her blood and not the opposite. He didn’t care why he felt like this. All that mattered was that being inside of Fallon filled him with certainty about his feelings for her despite the short time they’d known each other, and the obstacles that lay in front of them. Nevertheless, he was already hers, his heart irrevocably in her hand. And he hoped soon, she would be his. He would do everything in his power to reach his goal.
“Fuck! Get her away from him!” The menacing male voice came from the door and shattered his bliss. He recognized the voice, but despite that—or maybe because of it—he jumped into protector mode and prepared himself for a fight—a physical one if necessary.
Nobody would separate him from the woman he loved. Even if that meant he had to go against everything Scanguards represented. His loyalty was to Fallon now. And that wouldn’t change.
