If you need to get away, just tell them. You can’t risk exposure, but I know your job is important to you.”

“Will I be okay? I’m hungry again. And that blood is… fine, but it’s not as good as human blood, right? I can smell it now, and it smells really good, Iro.”

“Yes, it does,” she agreed. “But if you never drink it, it’s easier. I can help you. I will help Zara control her cravings as well, if she wants, and get her someone she can trust to deliver animal blood to her apartment.”

“God, my apartment…” Arwen said. “I haven’t even been home yet.”

“Arwen?”

“Yes?”

“You can say no, but I’d love it if you lived here. Not just because we’re together, either. If you want that bedroom upstairs as your own, it’s yours, but you’re going to be going through a lot in the next few weeks, and I want to be there for it, to help you. “And you’re thinking that if I’m here, you’d be available for that?” Arwen asked.

Iro smiled down at her and said, “You know what? I just realized I haven’t kissed you yet.”

“No, so please allow me to correct this grave error,” she replied, leaned down, and connected their lips, kissing Arwen slowly and reveling in it.

When Arwen’s hand slipped between them and started stroking her, Iro didn’t stop kissing her for even a moment. She kissed Arwen throughout her own orgasm and pressed their foreheads together after.
