Hate what his money stands for? Maybe. But Jeremy the person? I could never hate him. No matter how much money he has. And no matter how I’ve tried. And, boy, have I tried.
“Good because I don’t enjoy kissing women who hate me.”
His gaze drops to my lips and my breath catches. Do I want him to kiss me? He made it perfectly clear this relationship can’t be anything but temporary.
I don’t usually indulge in one-night stands. But what can it hurt? It’s not as if I’m going to fall in love with a billionaire. I’m not an idiot.
I palm his neck and draw him near until our lips meet. He growls and takes over. My entire body tingles as his tongue slips into my mouth.
It’s official. I’m trying this one-night stand thing.
Chapter 17
“Turns out, I like my sugar with a side of sass and thigh-highs.” ~ Jeremy
Jeremy
Itilt Parker’s head until I have the angle I want. The angle allows me to dive deep into her mouth. Her sweet, sumptuous mouth, I can’t get enough of. I need to memorize every inch of it.
This will probably be the last chance I have to taste her coffee and sugar flavor. I’m not in town for long. And I don’t do repeats. Repeats lead to women having ‘ideas about relationships’. And I was serious. I don’t do relationships.
I pull her closer but she grunts. I wrench my lips from hers. Hers are swollen and red from my kisses. She’s never looked more beautiful.
“What?” I bark out since I’m barely capable of speaking. Not with my cock pounding in my pants.
“The console’s in the way.”
“Shit. We can’t have sex in a parking lot.”
“Really?” She waggles her eyebrows. “Sex in a car is a rite of passage in Smuggler’s Hideaway.”
“I’m not a fucking teenager hiding his sex life from his parents.”
She giggles. “Do your parents comment on your sex life often?”
I shrug. “If they do, I wouldn’t know. I’m not in contact with them.”
She opens her mouth as if to ask why but snaps it shut nearly as quickly. Good. Since I won’t answer any of her questions anyway. My parents and the shit storm they caused is not a topic I discuss with anyone.
Not even sweet little bakers I want to devour.
She offers me her hand instead. “Welcome to the shitty parents’ club. I don’t have a membership card on me. I’ll have to mail it to you.”
I chuckle. I can’t believe I’m laughing when the subject is my parents but if there’s anyone who can make me laugh when I’m usually annoyed, it’s Parker.
I shake her hand. It’s not soft like the models I’m used to. She has callouses and scars from burns. She’s a real woman. Someone who’s determined to pave her own destiny in life. It’s nearly as sexy as her chest in the sweater dress she’s wearing.
“Are you hungry?”
She glances up at me from beneath her lashes. “Depends on what’s on the menu.”
I debate my answer. I usually wine and dine women before I take them to bed. But there’s nothing usual about Parker.
“You.”
Her eyes widen. “I’m on the menu?”
I nip her chin before I growl into her ear, “I plan to taste every inch of your body tonight.” She shivers in response. Good. I love a responsive woman.
