“Sebastian, what is all of this?” I ask again. “What’s going on?”

He waves his hand for everyone to quiet down, before turning to me. “They’re here for us.”

Confused as hell, I stare at him with furrowed brows. “What? Why? Sebastian, I’m so confused.”

He reaches into his pocket, grinning once more. “They’re here to celebrate with us.”

“What are we celebrati—” Before I can even ask the entire question, Sebastian drops down on one knee in front of me as I stare at him in complete disbelief. “What ar—”

“Devin Miller, you’ve been my world since the moment I saw you in this very hotel. You’ve been the only woman who’s had the patience to tame me, to make me the one-woman type of guy, and for that I’ll forever be grateful to you. You showed me that life isn’t a party all the time and that, in order to be happy, it doesn’t have to be. You showed me that love does exist, and it exists with you, and only you. You’ve made me the happiest man on earth, princess, and now, I want to make you the happiest wife on earth.” He pauses, pulling his hand out of his pocket and producing a red velvet box before opening it. “Will you marry me, Devin?”

I stand in shock, staring at the perfect diamond ring in Sebastian’s hand.

Our relationship runs through my mind like a freight train, and I look at how far we’ve come from the beginning. We were both scared of love when it was what we needed most, and we found it in each other.

Swallowing down the fear, I smile at Sebastian kneeling in front of me and nod. “Yes.”

His eyes light up as he stands in front of me, placing his forehead against mine.

“Yes?” He whispers against my lips.

“Yes,” I parrot. “I will marry you.”

A grin takes over his face, and he pulls back, sliding the engagement ring onto my finger. “Oh, princess, you’re stuck with me now.”

I grin at Sebastian’s normal personality coming back as cheers erupt around us. “You were pretty confident in yourself, huh?” I ask, gesturing to the crowd around us. “What if I said no?”

A wicked smile sprawls on his lips. “I’d have just taken you back up to that room we had the first time and used the cock you love so much to change your mind.”

I toss my head back and laugh.

God, I love this man.

I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with him.

Now I know what we’re celebrating—me becoming the future Mrs. Brooks.
