“Are you sure?”

I kissed just above the new bond mark. “I already have more than I ever expected. I’ll cherish you and James, plus Samantha and her family. If we have more then I’ll accept the new miracle into my life and shower them with as much love as I do everybody else.”

He let out a happy, but sleepy sigh. “I like that answer.”

I smiled and leaned over enough to kiss his temple. “Rest for a bit, omega-mine. We have all night, and I want to make sure you’re well taken-care of.”

He chuckled, then made himself comfortable and was soon asleep.

I brushed a few stray hairs from his forehead and admired his beauty.

Part of me hoped that we’d soon have another child, but David had already given me more than I’d ever dreamed possible for myself. I’d accept the blessings of each day, knowing that our future was bright.
