One month later...

Lina’s POV

The day had finally arrived—the day Zara and I would become one. Standing in front of the mirror, I could barely recognize myself. My ivory wedding gown hugged me perfectly, the intricate lace shimmering under the soft light. Nadia fluffed out my veil with a smile.

“You’re a vision, Lina,” she said softly. “Zara’s jaw is going to hit the floor.”

I laughed, trying to ignore the butterflies fluttering in my stomach. “Do you think she’s as nervous as I am?”

Nadia smirked. “Oh, I guarantee it. But knowing Zara, she’s probably standing there calm as ever, waiting for you.”

I exhaled, steadying myself. “This is it.”

Nadia gave me a reassuring squeeze. “Yes, this is it. Go claim your happiness.”

Zara’s POV

I stood at the altar, my sharp black tuxedo complemented by a white rose pinned to my lapel. My fingers fidgeted with my cufflinks as Sofia leaned in.

“Stop fidgeting,” she teased. “You look perfect, Zara.”

“Do you think she’ll say I do?” I asked, my voice barely above a whisper.

Sofia snorted. “If she doesn’t, I’m marrying you. Now breathe. This is your moment.”

The grand hall was breathtaking, draped in soft gold and ivory decor, but none of it mattered. The only thing I cared about was the woman about to walk through those doors.

The music changed, and my heart skipped a beat. All heads turned as Lina appeared, radiant as ever, her father by her side. My breath caught in my throat. She was stunning, her beauty stealing every coherent thought from my mind.

---

Lina’s POV

Walking down the aisle, all I could see was Zara. Her dark eyes held mine, filled with love and a hint of vulnerability. My father’s hand rested on mine, steadying me as we moved closer.

When we reached the altar, he placed my hand in Zara’s. “Take care of her,” he said firmly but kindly.

“With my life,” Zara responded, her voice steady and sure.

Her hand was warm and reassuring as we faced each other. My nerves melted away under her gaze.

---

The priest’s words felt like a dream, but every vow exchanged grounded me in reality. Zara’s voice trembled slightly as she said, “I promise to love you, protect you, and stand by you every day of my life.”

My response came from the depths of my heart. “I vow to trust you, cherish you, and love you unconditionally, through every high and low.”

---

Zara’s POV

When the priest asked me if I would take Lina as my wife, there was no hesitation. “I do.”

Lina’s smile brightened the entire room as she echoed, “I do.”

“With the power vested in me,” the priest declared, his voice echoing through the hall, “I now pronounce you Mrs. and Mrs. Elahi. You may kiss the bride.”

Cheers erupted, but all I could hear was my own heartbeat as I leaned in, pulling Lina close. Our kiss was everything—gentle yet passionate, sealing our promises forever.

---

Lina’s POV

As we stood hand in hand, the applause and cheers of our loved ones surrounded us. I glanced at Zara, my wife, and couldn’t help but grin.

“Mrs. Elahi,” I said softly, testing out the words.

She smirked, her thumb brushing over my knuckles. “And you’re Mrs. Elahi.”

The words felt surreal, but they were ours now.

---

The reception was filled with laughter, dancing, and endless love. But as Zara and I slipped away under the starry sky, away from the crowd, I realized this was just the beginning.

“I love you,” she whispered, pulling me into her arms.

“And I love you,” I replied, resting my head against her chest.

Under the stars, as Mrs. and Mrs. Elahi, our forever began.

The End.
