“The fuck? Ma, you smoking my shit?” I tossed my hands up in the living room, passing the wet bar tucked in a corner and shelves lined with top-shelf liquor.
She immediately choked, caught off guard, and Marcella kept twirling and two stepping along.
“Brick, what you doing here so early?”
“Catching y’all in rare fucking form.”
“Baby, I been doing this since before you was born. We was just having a little turn up.” Marcella grabbed the joint from Rossi and brought it to her lips.
“Bro, y’all tripping. Ma, how you just go in my room and take my shit?”
“Brick, you know damn well you ain’t tripping about no damn joint, all that damn weed up there. Is that… Six?” She squinted past me, finally realizing I wasn’t alone.
“Hey, Rossi.” Six waved.
“Well, come on in here. You want something to eat or drink? Brick, why you ain’t tell me you was bringing company home?”
“We just gon’ head upstairs and chill. I ain’t fucking with y’all.”
“Well, wait a minute now. Who is Six?” Marcella stopped me when I grabbed Six’s hand to lead her away.
“My girl!” I yelled over my shoulder. “We out.”
“You so rude. It was nice meeting you!” Six waved to Rossi and Marcella on the way out.
Guiding her back through the front of the house, we started up the steps together.
She admired the artwork on the walls while I pulled her along to my bedroom straight ahead.
I turned the knob and kicked the door open.
Everything was black in my room, including the walls.
All the finishing on my dressers and mirrors was chrome, giving it a classic vibe.
I pulled my shirt off and tossed it on a nearby chair.
Six moved around, taking in my décor. She went through my cologne collection on the dresser and checked my body products while I grabbed some weed to roll up and strolled over to my seating area to chill.
“It’s like your own little world up here.” She padded across the cloud-soft carpet and dropped down beside me on the couch.
“Hell yeah. Snacks are back there in the mini fridge.” I nodded over my shoulder and settled with my weed tray in my lap as she reached for the remote to the TV.
“Which app you watch the most?”
“Shit, probably Netflix or Discovery. I like those cooking show challenges.”
“You cook?” she queried, flicking the TV on.
“Nah, but Marcie does. If I see some shit I like, I just tell her to make it.”
“Who is Marcie?”
“Our chef and maid.”
“Does she bathe you and brush your teeth for you too?” Six teased.
“She been around since I was like ten years old. She’s part of the family.
There’s a guest house in the back where she lives and everything.
You fuck with Marcie and you got a problem with me.
She loves what she does, and she definitely don’t mind doing shit for me.
Plus, I got her grandson a job, something legit he can work while he’s in college. I’m an angel in her eyes.”
“Mmm, seems like Kiara sees you the same way,” Six mumbled, a tinge of jealousy in her tone that piqued my interest.
I licked the Backwood to prep for rolling, and Six clicked away on the remote until she came up on the Discovery app.
“She cool. I admire anybody taking care of their seed on their own. I hooked her up with a few employment opportunities, and I think she feel like she owe a nigga or something.”
“Oh, she wants to pay up,” Six insinuated.
“You jealous?” I simpered when she swung her head my way.
“Hell no.”
“Yeah, lemme find out.” Snickering, I sprinkled the blunt with weed and tucked it to roll when she settled on Beat Bobby Flay . “This my shit.”
“I’m more of a Guy’s Grocery Games girl.”
“Yeah, Guy is cool too.” I kicked my feet up.
The two of us sat there getting high, snacking, and talking shit while watching cooking shows until Six was yawning and checking her phone screen.
Stretched out on one side of the couch with her legs intertwined with mine on the opposite side, we were both on some unwind time.
I’d given her a big t-shirt and some of my briefs to sleep in since it was obvious she wasn’t going back to the lodge tonight.
Nothing was forced, and I dug that. I wasn’t even sweating her over the pussy because in my mind, that shit was already sealed, it was just a matter of time.
Learning she was a virgin was a surprise, but I was determined to be her first and her muhfucking last.
“Hey, who is this chick, Bella?” she asked, leaning forward and grabbing some leftover popcorn from a bowl and feeding herself.
“Bella, from GloWorks?”
“Yeah, looks like it.” She sat up, studying her phone display. “She sent me a message and said she had some products to send me.”
“Oh, she’s one of my sponsors. Actually, she has a red-carpet event coming up that we should be seen at.”
“Brick, my DMs are flooded with people wanting to send me shit so I can be an ambassador.” Six looked up at me expectantly.
“Take that shit.” I shrugged. “I do it. It’s free shit and you look good. All they want is an influential face rocking their brand. You get a bag every month for that too.”
“For real?” She tapped away at her screen.
I was just hoping Bella kept it professional and stayed in pocket. The last thing I needed was her on the bullshit when me and Six was just getting this shit popping.
“You rocking with me now, mama. This is just the beginning.” I gave her foot a squeeze and watched her lean back, completely entranced by her screen.
She didn’t even know I was watching her as she nervously bit on her nail.
I thought it was adorable how hype she was behind all this.
Most women were out here breaking their necks for the kind of branding she was getting just off the strength of fucking with me.
The world might not know GirlSix, but they would soon enough because I was that dude in any city.
Everybody wanted to party with Brick Marek.
