ROSCO

The past six months of having Rory with us were the best of my life. I never imagined I could feel so complete with an omega and a baby, but waking up with a smile and going to sleep with a full heart had completely changed me.

At work, I did my best to maintain a hardcore persona that was as intimidating as ever, but even Cord liked to tease me that I was turning into a damn marshmallow when it came to torturing assholes who claimed to have kids at home.

Why the fuck did these guys try to screw us over if they had a family to go home to? It didn’t make sense to me.

There was rare silence, so I went to check on Ori and the baby. Rory was finishing up his last feeding for the night as Ori hummed to him in the glider.

I lingered in the hallway for a minute, propped up against the door frame with my hands in my pockets as I watched them.

Some visions never got old. I could stare at my omega for hours.

He never looked more sexy than when he was relaxed in his flannel pajama pants, hung low on his narrow hips, with his bare chest out for the world.

Well, for our baby, but if I was lucky, also for me.

“Hey, babe.” His head tipped forward when he saw me staring. “Like what you see?”

“So fucking much.” I stepped in and pressed a kiss to his cheek and then to Rory’s head. “He done?”

“Yep. Just trying to motivate myself to get my ass up.”

I ran my fingers through his hair and then gently curled them into a fist, pulling lightly. “I’ve got some ideas for that ass.”

He rolled his eyes, but I saw the corners of his mouth twitch. This was our game. He pretended not to appreciate my endless appetite for him, but I could always sense when his arousal met mine. The curse of an omega was that they couldn’t hide from their alpha’s lust.

“Get him in bed and meet me in the shower, omega.”

Ori tensed as a shudder rocked through him and his pupils grew. “Yes, alpha.”

Our bathroom was bigger than it needed to be, and that was a luxury when we were in it together.

After cranking the shower faucet to nearly scalding, I stripped out of my clothes.

My reflection in the mirror mocked me, rubbing in the fact that I was slightly softer around the edges.

Not just physically, but in my whole demeanor.

I wasn’t as ruthless as I used to be. Apparently, I was a born family man.

Once I stepped into the shower, I let the heat work the kinks out of my neck and shoulders. The water pounded down hard on my skin, echoing off the tiles. For a minute, I stood there alone, staring at the fogged-up glass as my mind drifted.

Six months ago, we’d been so afraid of what it would be like to have a baby in our lives, but those fears were quickly alleviated, and now I couldn’t remember my life without my boys. I’d bought a white noise machine and learned how to swaddle…and the rest was history.

The bathroom door opened, and Ori slipped in behind me. His hair was mussed and his eyes were heavy-lidded, but when I turned to him, he looked at me like I was worth fighting any amount of exhaustion.

For a second, neither of us moved. Then he was pressed against my chest, kissing my jaw and practically climbing me.

“You look fucking gorgeous, alpha.” He ducked under the spray and let it bounce off him before he leaned back against the tile and closed his eyes. “Damn, that feels good.”

I let my gaze linger. He was already back to his pre-pregnancy weight and strong in every way that mattered. “I can make you feel even better.”

He opened his eyes and smirked. “You look like you wanna eat me.”

“I always wanna eat you.” I pinned him with my arms, trapping him between me and the tile. “I’ve waited for this moment all day.”

“You’re insatiable.” He smiled as his hands found my waist, and his fingers dug into me as if trying to hold me in place. Don’t worry, sweetheart. I’m not going anywhere. “And I love it.”

My teeth scraped along his jawline, and I nipped, gentle enough to avoid leaving a mark but hard enough to make him gasp. “I miss you when I’m at work.”

“We miss you too.” He tilted his head back as my lips traced the outline of his Adam’s apple. “But you’re here now.”

“I’m here, omega.” I licked the stream of water rolling down his throat. “And I want you.”

He shivered when I ran my hands over his chest, gently circling where Rory’s hungry mouth had left faint marks, before slipping down to the flat line of his stomach. Ori caught my wrists and held them between us. “Then take me.”

I kissed him hard. It was the kind of kiss that started out hungry and then slowed to a soft grinding of lips and tongue.

Ori kissed me back, alternating between pressing his lips to my skin and sharp little bites at my tongue. My omega was feeling feisty. “I can’t wait much longer, alpha.” He squirmed. “I need your knot. ”

“It’s all yours, sweetheart.” I turned him around and pressed his chest to the cool tile. “Hard and fast. Just the way you like it.”

“Yes, Ros. Rail me hard.”

When he said shit like that, I couldn’t go slow or sweet or nice. My body took over and my cock slipped right into his slick opening, finding its way home like a vacuum had pulled it in. “Tell me if I hurt you.”

“You won’t.” He arched his back and pushed out his ass to deepen the angle. “Move faster.”

We knew each other’s bodies like our own, and I knew when to give in to his begging.

He needed to feel me, so I gave him what he asked for.

With one leg bent to keep Ori in place, I began a steady pace of fucking into him like we were on a time limit.

He whimpered and panted as his fist closed around his cock, working his front in time with my rhythm at his back.

Even though he was quite a bit smaller than me, my omega fit perfectly against my body. His wet channel made a sloppy noise each time I slammed into him and pulled out, but those dirty sounds just heightened the erotic moment .

He made a low groan when I gripped his hips and lifted him to his tippy toes, bracing him against the wall. “I’m close.”

“Me too, babe.” I had to scrunch my eyes shut and focus on the cooling water to keep from exploding too soon.

“Does my big alpha cock feel good in your tight ass?” I let him relax against the wall and my hand took over around his heated dick. “Because this cock feels amazing in my hand.”

“Yes, alpha.” Water streamed down Ori’s back as I leaned over and kissed a trail along the nape of his neck. He was warm and trembling under me, so I slowed my hands, savoring every inch of him as his back arched.

Despite my need to take him hard, I moved slowly at first, letting my hands explore his wet skin before sliding down to his ass.

“More, alpha. Give me more.” He exhaled and his shoulders sagged against the wall. I braced us both with one arm around his chest and then pushed harder. My thrusts were long and deep but just slow enough to drive us both crazy .

The water drowned out everything but our breathing and the slap of skin. I had to lean closer to hear the almost desperate sounds my omega made when I hit him just right.

It didn’t take long for him to reach his peak. It never did when we were like this. These moments felt less like fucking and more like a coming together of our mind, body, and spirit. Ori came first, shivering and rolling as he bit down on my hand to keep from shouting.

“Me too, babe.” I followed immediately after, not even trying to be quiet. Rory could sleep through anything, and even if he woke up, he could wait a few minutes. We needed this time together. The few moments each day when I was locked inside him and our hearts beat in sync.

After his come had been washed off the wall and I had slipped out of his body, I continued to hold him up until his legs stopped shaking, and then I eased us both onto the floor of the shower with water sluicing over us as we caught our breaths.

Ori curled between my legs with his back to my chest, and I held him. “I love you, Rosco. ”

“I love you too, Orlando.” I tightened my arms and pressed a kiss to his wet hair. “More than anything.”

He was quiet for a moment before he looked up at me with a glimmer of mischief in his eyes. “When do we get to do this again?”

I cocked my head, not following his train of thought. “Showering?”

“No.” He laughed softly and put his head against me again. “Another baby. When can we give Rory a baby brother or sister?”

I thought about the sleepless nights, the crying, the constant terror that something would go wrong, and my answer was easy.

The way Rory smiled when he saw me was something I would never get tired of.

“Now.” I dragged my teeth along his jaw and slipped my hand under his ass.

“I’m ready to get started when you are.”

“Good.” Ori wiggled in my lap. “I don’t know for sure, obviously, but I feel like maybe tonight was…it.”

I snorted. “It could be.”

The baby monitor crackled to life, and we heard our son’s tiny little wail echoing down the hall .

Ori groaned, but I was already on my feet, dragging him with me so I could wrap him in a towel. After a quick pat dry, we both went to the nursery to check on our boy. He was already calming down, and he went silent when he recognized the shapes and scents of his dads.

“Shhhh…” Ori patted his back, lulling him back to sleep.

I watched the two of them together and felt something I’d never had before. Something I never thought I was missing.

A family. A sense of belonging. Permanence.

I rested my chin on his shoulder and soaked in the perfect moment with my baby and my omega.

I could do this forever.

I would do this forever.

A deadly omega, a possessive alpha, and a love written in blood.

An omega with blood on his hands.

An alpha who should be his enemy.

A bond neither can escape.

Carmine Bandino is no ordinary omega. Raised in the shadows and forged into a weapon, he’s the one who gets called when someone needs to disappear.

His latest mark is a monster who’s been terrorizing a quiet east coast community.

Carmine is always careful, but as soon as he gets into town, he’s off his game.

Something is going on that makes him take risks that he doesn’t even realize he’s taking.

Dominic Mendonca, alpha guard for the powerful Ferrini family is out hunting a serial killer who’s been causing trouble up and down the coast and drawing unwanted attention to the family.

He has a lead and is expected to end a life and get back to the bar before midnight, but someone beats him to the punch.

A beautiful but lethal omega strikes first and leaves Dom questioning everything he’s ever thought about omegas.

Intrigued, he follows Carmine through the city, determined to uncover the identity of this mysterious assassin…

and figure out why he can’t stop thinking about him.

What begins as surveillance turns into obsession. Carmine should be nothing more than a rival, but Dominic sees more. And when Carmine’s family sends him deeper into Ferrini territory, Dominic faces a choice—destroy the assassin who should never have crossed into his world or claim him as his own.
