“I can see perfectly well, and I will see your beautiful body perfectly naked very soon.”

With her stomach ever expanding, she had of late attempted to avoid being naked in front of him. He of course had dissuaded her attempts and made her feel more secure with her appearance. He was an unselfish man and an unselfish lover.

It never took them long to undress, both of them always eager to touch and taste each other, though this time Royce took charge, showering her with such ardent attention that she melted to his intimate touch.

He had a way with his hands that surprised Brianna, for who would think that a fierce warrior whose rough hands caused such destruction in battle could touch with gentleness and sensitivity?

He lay beside her on the bed, his hard body warm and her soft body cool to the touch, but not for long.

“I love the feel of you,” he said, his fingers tracing a delicate path over her chest and around her breasts. “Your skin is rose petal soft and smells just as sweet.”

She sighed, his grazing fingers warming her flesh and spiking her passion, and his thoughtful words touching her heart.

“You are a tender warrior.”

He placed a finger to her lips. “Shhh—someone will hear you, and my secret will be out.”

His hand returned to working its magic and she whispered, “Your secret is safe with me.”

“I know that.” He kissed the tip of her nose. “That is why I confide in you, for I know without a doubt that I can trust you.”

Trust.

She had longed for it and had finally found it and so she said the few words that meant so much to her. “I love you with all my heart.”

“I know.” He smiled and stole a quick kiss. “Since I tell you every day of my love for you, now let me show you how much I love you.”

She giggled softly and shivered with anticipation.

“You respond like a woman in love, and that makes me want you even more.”

“Then let us not waste a moment. Let us love now.”

“Aye, I do not want to waste a moment. I wish us to take our time and enjoy the pleasure of loving.”

She sighed at the thought, for they often took their time making love, and it was precious memories she had of those times and anticipation of the times they had yet to share.

Her sighs turned to soft moans, his fingers tracing delicate circles over her warming flesh. Her body responded, squirming to inch closer to his touch, yet he kept it faint and teasing.

His fingers traveled down her body, lingering over her rounded stomach, and then lightly touching her moist heat. His lips descended over one hard nipple and nipped at the tender bud while his fingers brought her intimate pleasure.

Her moans turned to groans, and her body moved in a frantic rhythm. She grabbed at his muscled arm and squeezed tightly.

“Please,” she said, “I do so want you.”

He kissed her like a man ready to explode, and she in turn reached down and grabbed hold of him.

“Now,” she demanded.

“Aye, now,” he agreed.

He moved between her legs, ready to satisfy them both, when a pounding shook the door.

Delia announced with a strong voice, “Ian of the clan Cameron has arrived.”
