Need? Fulfill her? Certainly not becoming the most powerful seer, as she had, but somehow so much more. So much of him that...
Her thoughts skewed when he suckled her just right and plunged two steamy hot fingers deep inside her. Everything exploded, sending her black aura sky-high before he kept going. Forced her to feel pleasure while he chanted away his clothes.
While he showed her what was coming for her.
Flaming hot, hard muscles. A smoking, unquenchable, far too sizable cock. Flames licking every inch of his perfectly made body. Ready, eager, she rolled onto her stomach and propped her backside in the air, only for him to whip her onto her back again.
“No,” he growled, still crouched on the bed. He watched her with a ravenous look she would never forget. Lustful appreciation mixed with so much more.
Respect, love, then even more.
“I didn’t see your face when we Forged.” He wedged her thighs apart roughly, perfectly, then wrapped his hand into her hair and forced her gaze to stay with his. “Now, I want to see every last second of how good I’ll make you feel.” His eyes roamed her body once again, his demeanor changed since this all began but in a good way. “And I want you to see how you make me feel.”
“I know how—”
That’s all she managed to get out before he wedged her thighs apart even further, dug his hand in deeper, and drove into her. It wasn’t gentle or romantic unless one knew what to look for. Unless they were staring into eyes she had known her whole life. Unless they felt the blazing pleasure of him filling her. It was a combination that made her lose her breath yet roar all at once.
It was divinity but pure love simultaneously.
“Revna,” he groaned, pressing deep. His eyes closed. His features twisted in bliss. Fire sizzled over his skin. “My fated mate.”
That certain knowledge didn’t bother him any more than it did her. If anything, it drove them on when he moved. When she wrapped her legs around his body and welcomed him deeper into her.
In, out, over and over.
Sometimes fast, other times slow.
Sweat-slicked.
Raging passion.
Unquestionable need.
But he always kept her just on the edge of peaking.
As though somewhere, deep down, he feared he might lose her after that.
“Never,” she whispered, holding him close, cherishing his fire.“Never.”
Yet still, every time they got close, he slowed down until finally, she stopped him and cupped his cheeks. “Don’t be afraid, Loki.” She rolled him on his back and straddled him, never losing contact. “Because this won’t change anything.”
It wouldn’t either, and she knew it soul-deep. Godly deep. New to her, age-old to him. But it told her much about his craving to keep her always. To never lose what he had found.
“And you won’t.” She moved her hips slowly at first until she rode him more steadily. Until he grasped her hips and fire flicked over them. “Never.” She leaned down and kissed him. Let him taste her flames. “Not if you don’t want to.”
As if she had somehow given him permission, he grabbed her hips tighter, met her eyes, and drove into her like a madman. Like a god making his way back to something he never wanted to lose, never forget, until he thrust up so hard, his eyes rolled back in his head, and release slammed into them both.
A release that led to another and another for days to come.
It was hard to imagine they had made it this far, but they had, and it felt right. How it was always supposed to be. But then it seemed Hel knew that, hadn’t she? Or perhaps, on some level, theyhad always known that? Had always strived toward it.
Just like the fire that Forged them.
A love that made all the difference in so many lives.
But never so much as it did in their own.
