So, I have good news and I have bad news.
Bad news first. I amstillsuffering from these headaches, you guys. And I mean it when I say suffering. I can't even eat once they set in.
And no, to those of you who have been asking. There's no chance this had anything to do with my being inside for a week. Lack of outside just makes me tired and unable to access my powers. It has nothing to do with headaches like this.
I would almost liken it to a sinus headache, like you get when you have a cold? (Or allergies, apparently? But I don't have seasonal allergies so I wouldn't know).
But anyway, the good news is that I may have found a possible treatment.
Perisage.
It's a cross between sage and periwinkle and is apparently a gods-send when it comes to this type of headache. I will have to ask Mother to bring me some clippings so I can make a tincture ASAP and maybe even propagate some of my own so I never have to suffer like this ever again.
So, hopefully next week, I will have a more positive update for you on that front.
The Rapunzel seedlings are doing well. If they keep growing like they do, in a few days, I should need to repot them again. They're doing AWESOME. It must be all the love you guys showed them in those pics I posted a while back. ;)
They could totally tell, I promise!
Basil is definitely having a blast now that we can go back out in the sunroom again. He's living it up out there.
Fortunately (or unfortunately, depending on your alignment), it's going to rain tomorrow. So I will DEFINITELY be out here in the sunroom (turned rain-room, haha) soaking up all that stormy weather.
Until tomorrow, guys! Have a good one!
~~saturday, late afternoon~~
I had laid the groundwork. I'd spent my week searching things to do with perisage and had read a slew of articles that pertained to its purported headache healing abilities.
I complained regularly about suffering from the types of headaches it cured.
Now, I just had to wait for Mother to email me so I could ask her to bring some. Because she definitely would email me. I hoped.
Otherwise, it would force me to ask her when she came for her semi-weekly visit. Which would mean that I'd have to wait another two weeks for perisage. Which would push off my plans to be video chatting with my guys by a lot.
Because, I fully planned on seeing them and them seeing me by next weekend.
My tablet chimed from where I'd propped it up on the potting station.
I had dirt all over my hands from transplanting a few tomato seedlings into their permanent homes. A quick cleansing charm later and I was clean-handed and ready to check my notifications.
It was a chat from Rifyr.
"Hey there, beautiful!" he greeted me. "Are you busy or…?"
"Never too busy for you," I replied.
"Hey, I just wanted to say I was sorry about whatever it was I put in that comment you deleted from your 'I'm back' post. Was it something your guardian would have found iffy or something?"
My heart went out to him. He'd noticed the comment I'd deleted.
"Yeah, kinda…" I replied. "Iloved it, but Mother wouldn't have."
