Shayna

I would’ve thought it were a dream, if it weren’t for the tingles still running through my body and the proof streaked across my sheets.

His cum is smeared over the spot that’s still damp from the mess I made.

He made me watch. He stroked himself slowly, tight-fisted pumps.

The muscles in his forearm straining, teeth clenched tight, prolonging the torture for both of us.

By the time he was done, I was in agony.

The throb between my legs was a deep, unsatisfied ache.

But like a dark shadow of the night, he un-cuffed my arms and disappeared from my room, telling me I wasn’t allowed to touch myself, and that my pussy is only his to play with now.

And for the first time, I obeyed his order.

For hours, I lay there replaying every moment, wondering if the guilt would catch up to him again.

If he dares to give me the same speech he used yesterday, I’m done.

I won’t let my emotions be toyed with, which is why I opt for a pretty floral dress.

Something not too revealing. Something soft and sweet, making me look like a good girl in hopes that he won’t change his mind.

I want him to believe that his influence on me is a good one, that what happened last night is exactly what I needed.

Because it is. I’ve never felt so connected or consumed by anyone ever in my life.

I don’t know how to describe the connection but it’s cataclysmic.

“You slept in,” Dagger says as I pass him in the hall on the way to the laundry room with my sheets in hand.

“I had a restless night.”

I was kicking and squirming, fighting to get my arms free as Link tortured me with his tongue. He devoured my need like an untamed animal. He couldn’t stop himself. He was trying to prove his point, but he couldn’t hold himself off.

“Hey, listen.” My thoughts are interrupted, thankfully before I released a moan. “My sister might be coming to stay with us for a bit. Would you mind cleaning up my room and running my sheets through the wash?”

“Sure, I’ll get on it as soon as I start mine. I’m looking forward to meeting her, by the way.” He’s told me so much about the girl. His evil stepsister who’s wild and rebellious and doesn’t take shit from anyone. She sounds wickedly awesome in spite of the fact that she drives her brother crazy.

“Just a warning, she doesn’t like people, so I apologize ahead of time for any snotty comment that comes from her mouth.”

“Is there a reason she hates people?” Dagger is one of the most outgoing guys I’ve ever met, so it’s hard for me to picture.

“Having a deadbeat dad who found himself in jail is the why. By the time I met her, she was pretty jaded towards the world. When my dad entered the picture, he tried to be a father to her, but she wanted to have nothing to do with him. I’m the only male she can tolerate.

And the only one willing to put up with her bitchy ass. ”

He’s a good brother. Underneath his irritation with the girl, I can tell he loves her and is worried about her.

Sounds like she has a good reason for those thick walls she’s armed herself with, though.

She’s the perfect example of why having two parents isn’t always better.

I may have had my fair share of shit I had to deal with at the home, but I didn’t have an evil father to fuck me up and make me hate the world.

“You’re a good brother, Dagger.”

He shakes his head. “There’s definitely room for improvement where that girl is concerned. Look. I appreciate you cleaning the room for me. I’d ask Cherry to do it but she’s in a mood.”

And when is she not? That girl acts as if she’s an old lady and deserves a crown.

“No problem. It’s what I’m paid to do.”

I honestly don’t mind picking up after the guys. It gives me a glimpse inside their private space. Besides, they’ve given me a roof over my head, and have paid me a fortune for taking care of the bar. It’s the best job I’ve ever had.

“Thanks, doll.”

As soon as I get the soap poured into the washer, I head right down to Dagger’s room and start stripping his bedding.

His room is fairly tidy. I’ll just run the sweeper and dust, but there’s not much to pick up.

It’s not like Skully’s room. I’ll find broken liquor bottles shattered across his floor and crumpled-up drawings thrown everywhere.

Drawings of his ex, Madison, who is one of sweetest people I’ve met.

She welcomed me with open arms when I first arrived, but then that terrible night occurred, and Skully came back broken and angry.

He kicked her out of the clubhouse and broke her heart.

And other than an occasional text from the girl, his drawings of her is all I get to see of my friend.

“Is there a reason you’re in here taking Dagger’s bedding off?” Link’s hard body presses against my back and I’m startled from my thoughts.

“He wants me to get his room ready for his sister.” I look over my shoulder, gauging his reaction. His eyes are dark and menacing, sending a trickle of current through my body with his stare.

“You shouldn’t be cleaning his room.”

“It’s what I do. I’m your little Cinderella, remember? I cook and clean and earn my keep.” I wink.

“You’ve already earned your place in this club, babe. From now on, you tend the bar, but I don’t want you cleaning up after us.”

My heart takes a heavy hit, feeling like my Prince Charming is swooping in to save me. But I don’t want to take advantage.

“I don’t mind doing it, Link. You all have done so much for me. It’s my way of showing you all how much I appreciate you.”

“Baby. You making these men smile over the last year when everyone was suffering from the loss of Rubble is more than enough. It’s time for us to show you how much we appreciate you. ”

“Wow. That’s the sweetest thing you’ve ever said to me, Officer Price.” My heart is trying not to beat right out of my chest. No one has ever said something so nice.

“Yeah, well, it’s about time I told you what you mean to us.”

And there he does it again. I almost feel like I’m going to cry. Here I was nervous that he was going to storm in here and tell me that he shouldn’t have crossed a line last night. But he just walked in and stole my heart.

“And what do I mean to you, Link?” I dare the question, but I need to know where we stand. I don’t want my hopeful little heart assuming things that aren’t real.

“You mean more than I care to admit, Shay.”

Tears brim my eyes.

“You’ve become my little obsession, baby. My every thought is consumed by you. And even though I know it’s wrong, I can’t seem to keep my hands off you.”

One of those big hands is sliding down my hip, tugging up the hem of my dress. His fingers trail up my thigh, and the tingles are already prickling between my legs.

“I like this dress, by the way.” His eyes drop to my top. “It’s real pretty.” His head dips to my cleavage, and I moan as his tongue slides along the line of it. “Can I see what you have on under this dress?”

I nod my head, and he tugs up my skirt, groaning when he sees I have matching peach panties on.

“Goddamn, you are a temptress.” His fingers run over my skin, working their way between my legs.

“Already soaked through,” he groans, as he rubs over the cotton.

“My little thirst trap always eager for me to play with her.”

My balance sways and I grip his arm, holding on tight as he begins to stroke me.

His thick fingers slip under the material and rub right over the spot that’s pulsing with my racing blood.

It’s not going to take much before I’m hitting my peak.

I can already feel the coiling from within.

My entire body is running hot. And he keeps rubbing and rubbing.

“That’s it, baby. Be a good girl and come for me. I want to hear my name moaned from your lips in Dagger’s room. I want to hear who you belong to.”

“Lincoln!”

It’s winding tighter, intensifying with every touch, growing heavier with every word whispered against my ear.

“Now.” He pinches down on my clit. “Give it to me right this second.”

I get sucked right down into the pleasure, sinking deeper and deeper as the shocks flood in.

The current rushes over me, the waves curl from within, crashing hard.

And he holds me through the swell of my orgasm, rubbing me through the pulsing shocks, whispering how I’m such a good girl.

I struggle to capture my breath, trying to find my thoughts through the intensity.

It’s such an overwhelming feeling. Consuming my very soul.

“See what happens to girls who do as they’re told.” He presses a kiss against my neck and another tingle washes through. “They get rewarded for their good behavior.”

“I like your rewards,” I say, running my hands over his chest. “But I also love my punishments.”

His nostrils flare and that ticking pulse is back in his clenched jaw. “I have to go to church, but after I’m done, I’m gonna need you in my room. That naughty mouth of yours needs to be punished for making my cock so fucking hard.”

I can feel it, pressed against my hip. Long and thick, and excruciatingly hard.

“Have to go, babe. But I’ll see you when I’m done.”

He places a swift kiss on my lips before he’s pulling away much too soon, but he’s already late and King is a stickler for punctuality.

I turn and get back to my task of getting Dagger’s room ready. I know Link told me I don’t have to, but I like helping the guys out. Every single one of them has offered me a kindness, and this is my way of doing the same.

As I start making my way back to the laundry room, my phone starts ringing.

“Izzy,” I answer, excited that it’s her. I want to share the latest developments between me and the dirty officer with her.

“He’s married, Shay!”

I drop the sheets in front of the dryer at the sound of her panicked voice.

“Who’s married?” If she’s talking about my officer, she’s wrong. Link never got married. And from what I’ve heard since I’ve been here, he hasn’t even had a girlfriend since he patched in.

“The doctor.”

The doctor? Oh, that good for nothing son of a bitch. Married? I swear I’m going to kill him.

“Like married and separated or like married married?” Because if he and his wife have been separated for some time that’s a different story.

“Married as in she walked into the steakhouse today and kissed him on the mouth. Married as in she was talking about buying cookies for his mom and scotch for his dad. Married as in she told me not to spill water on her husband’s lap.

Married as in her diamond was blinding me.

They’re planning to start a family, Shay.

All this time he’s been lying to me. Every fucking word that came from his mouth was a lie. ”

That motherfucker better hope he never crosses my path. I will taser his balls and make it to where his dick never rises again.

“Oh my God. That fucking bastard. I’m so sorry, Izz. So damn sorry. So, what happened? What did you do?”

“I left. I left him and his bitchy wife, and I got in my car. Now, I’m driving home, and he keeps texting me.”

“What’s he saying?”

“He says he wants to explain.”

“Explain what?” There isn’t a damn thing the bastard could say to make it okay.

“I don’t want to hear anything he has to say. I trusted that man. I trusted that man and he lied.”

I can hear the pain in her voice and I wish I were with her. Holding her tight.

“I’m so sorry, Izz. I know how much you cared about him.”

She was picking out flowers and baby names. God, I hate him.

“It hurts, Shay.” And here come the tears. “I thought he was the one.”

“I’m coming to see you.” There’s no way I’m going to leave her alone to suffer.

“I can’t ask you to do that. It’s almost a two-hour drive.”

“I’d drive twenty if I needed to. Let me just tell the guys and then I’ll be on the road. Give me a couple of hours, okay?”

“Thanks, sis,” she says through her sobs, and I can’t get out of here fast enough. I swear I’m going to perform a surgical removal of the evil doctor’s dick and send it off to a school for dissection.

“That’s what I’m here for,” I say. “Look, I’ll be there soon, and I promise I’ll make you my chocolate chip cookies.”

As soon as we hang up, I go knock on the door to the meeting room, hating that I’m interrupting church. It’s the one time of the week the guys say is sacred. But I don’t want to leave without making sure they can cover the bar tonight.

“Shayna? Is something the matter?” King opens the door, looking concerned.

“I am so sorry to interrupt, but it’s kind of an emergency. Can I speak with Link?”

He’s out of his chair and stalking right to me. “I’ll be back in a minute.” He shuts the door behind him and turns, his intensity now tuned in on me. “What’s the matter, baby? You look upset.”

“Izzy just found out that the guy she’s been seeing is married. She’s really upset, Link. I need to go be with her. Is it okay if I leave? Can you guys get someone to cover the bar for the next couple of nights?”

“Shit, yeah. Don’t even think twice about it. You go. I’ll take care of it. Just need you to text me when you get there so I know you’re safe. And send me the address.”

“Thank you. I’ll let you know as soon as I’m at her place.”

I lean up to give him a kiss on the cheek, but he turns my head, catching my lips with his, and then he kisses the hell out of me.

Making my toes tingle and causing a warmth to buzz throughout my body.

I’ve never been kissed like this. It’s scorching hot, yet so loving at the same time.

It’s so intense it’s almost unnerving, and by the time he releases me, my eyes are filled with tears.

“God, I need to stop or else I won’t let you go. You be safe, babe, and don’t forget to text me the moment you get there.”

I nod, unable to curve my lips to form words.

They’re tingling and warm, and in shock by how deeply I’ve fallen in love with this man.

Before I say the words that are hanging on the tip of my tongue, I turn and leave.

I’m not going to say it first. I want to know that he feels the same before I admit the scariest truth I’ve ever known.
