As if her urgency had been transmitted, he slowly unbuttoned her shirt. His mouth was fused to hers, her breath tangling with his. He could smell her, his mate, the woman he loved above all others, one he would die for, one he would gladly kill for. He could taste the silkiness of her lips, feel the satiny sheen of her beautiful skin. His hands skimmed over the bruise placed there by a crazed woman and he felt his heart contracting.
Losing her had almost maddened him. Getting her back had humbled him. He would spend every moment telling her, showing her that she was his world. Swiftly they undressed each other. The slow ember had turned into a blazing inferno. Her neck arched under his skillful fingers. He offered and she took. And gave in return. Unabashedly and without shame, she gave herself up. When his mouth closed over her breasts that were swollen with his son's milk, he suckled until he drew sighs and cries that echoed in the silence of their surroundings.
She was insane with need. Reaching between them, she fondled and caused her own furor. He swelled, his sex hardening until he was aching with a need so desperate, so powerful, he felt as if he would die from it.
He needed her and wondered dazedly, how he could have waited this long to take what was his. With a cry of pain and pleasure, he settled her over him, her tightness wrapping around him and stealing his breath.
Their coupling was sweet and poignant, until it was not. Desire raged strong and fierce, until the climax that took them was so forceful, they had to cling to each other to anchor themselves.
He held her close, his body shuddering, hands racing up and down her back. She was his, completely and utterly his and nothing in this life or the next could ever change that.
Later in bed, he held her warm body, the generous curves wrapping around him and felt contentment stealing over him.
As the cool night breeze whispered through the trees, it carried with it the scent of rain and earth, wrapping them in nature's embrace. Their whispered words faded, replaced by the simple language of touch and closeness, each movement a silent promise that spoke louder than any vow. In that secluded haven, the rest of the world melted away, leaving only the two of them, united, at peace, and utterly complete.
The end… or not!
