I lower my mouth to the hollow of her throat, kissing a slow, steady line up to her jaw. “We’ll go as fast or slow as you want. As far as you want. This is all about you.”

She smiles, her hand lifting to trace the curve of my mouth. “I just want it to feel good for you, too.”

She’s going to be the death of me—and I’ll die smiling.

Mina’s vulnerability is one of her greatest strengths. It’s something I’ve long admired about her, but right now, she needs me to show my softer side, too.

I brace my weight on my forearms, offering her a gentle smile. “This whole weekend, you’ve known exactly what to say, how to move, how to light up a room. I’ve felt ridiculous. Like I didn’t belong.”

Her brows knit, confusion flickering across her face. “You didn’t act like it.”

“Because you were right there, holding my hand, making me feel like I was enough. Now…” I drop a few slow, reverent kisses to her belly. “It’s my turn. Let me take care of you. Okay?”

She smiles as a bit of the fear melts away. “Okay.”

I stand and kick off my shoes. Then, under her intense gaze, I peel off my slacks and stand before her in nothing but boxers.

I know I look good, and that’s not me being some egotistical prick. I work out a lot between the gym and the farm. So, although I’m not some huge bodybuilder, I do alright.

Seems Mina agrees. Her eyes drop to my bulge, her breath catching.
