I kick the door shut behind us and waste no time getting comfortable.

I yank my tie loose and toss it aside. Then I reach for the buttons of my shirt, undoing them one by one under Mina’s watchful gaze.

“Business hours are officially over,” I murmur, shrugging out of the shirt and dropping it on a side chair.

I loosen my belt and close the distance between us, running my hands along her arms. “Your turn, beautiful.”

“I swear, I want this,” she whispers. “I just… I don’t want to screw this up.”

I brush a knuckle under her chin until her gaze meets mine. “You couldn’t screw this up if you tried, sweetheart.”

Her laugh is soft, shaky, as her hands drift down my chest. “You say that now.”

I’ve been with a lot of women. More than I care to count, if we’re being honest, and they’ve each possessed a variety of experiences.

But Mina is basically a virgin. She needs me to take it slow. Love every inch of her. Remind her, on every level, why she’s amazing, just as she is.

“Turn around.” I lower the zipper on her dress, letting it slide to the floor at her feet.

I wrap my arms around her waist, delivering delicate caresses to her stomach and gentle kisses to her shoulder. “Let me take care of you.”

Mina turns in my arms, her eyes seeking mine. I see thenervousness simmering in their depths, but there’s another emotion taking center stage—desire.

Time to stoke it into a raging inferno.

She nods. Just once. And it’s all I need.

Christ, she has no idea what that does to me.

The kiss starts out deep, hungry, a little dirty—but I rein it in. I let her feel how badly I want her without rushing a damn thing. She’s in charge, even if I’m the one losing my mind.

When she rises on tiptoe to claim control of the kiss, I let her.

She thinks that because she lacks experience she won’t be any good. I’m here to disprove that theory.

Her tongue tangles with mine, tentative at first, like she’s waiting for me to correct her—but I don’t. I just groan into her mouth and let her take everything she wants.

I slide my hands down her body, taking my time, learning what makes her shiver, what makes her breath catch. Gripping the backs of her thighs, I lift her into my arms, a low groan slipping from my throat as she exhales a soft gasp against my neck.

I carry her to the bed and lower her gently—until her legs lock around my waist and pull me back in.

“Stay,” she whispers.

As if I would leave.

I brush her hair back and freeze, because this isn’t just sex. It’s Mina. And I’m already gone for her. “You okay?”

She nods, but her hands tremble as they move to my belt. I gently cover her hands with mine. “Let me.”

Mina averts her eyes as the worry creeps back in. “Sorry.”

“Never apologize. We’re learning about each other.”

What she doesn’t understand is I’d set this whole damn resort on fire before I rush her.

I unbuckle the belt, easing the zipper down while her wide eyes track every move I make. “You’re okay, baby. You’re doing so good. Just breathe. I’ve got you.”

But I can see it—how her chest rises too fast, how her fingers twitch against the blanket. She’s nervous, even if she won’t say it out loud.
