And when Dorian leaned over me, I realized he had stopped moving.
“Look at me, Harper.”
Harper. He called me by my name. Why did that change everything?
I looked up at him then and saw the worry there.
“You have to tell me if I’m hurting you. That was the promise.”
I reached up and brushed his hair back from his forehead.
“You’re not hurting me,” I swore. And he wasn’t. “I’m just so full.”
He smiled then, his eyes crinkling. “Well, then let’s make it feel good.”
And then he moved even deeper, and I called out.
He was seated fully inside of me, his balls pressed against my body, and I had never felt this sensation in my life. Full, and yet wanting more. I wiggled beneath him. But he refused to move. I shoved at his shoulder.
“Dorian. Please. I need…”
“What do you need?”
“I don’t know.”
He nodded then, and I realized I had answered the question that neither one of us had asked.
But he didn’t say a thing. Instead, he took my mouth and slowly slid out of me. I reached for his arms, then his hips, needing him back.
Dorian just chuckled against my mouth and then slammed into me. He wasn’t soft, wasn’t sweet, not like that first moment. And yet, it was exactly what I needed.
I tried to meet him thrust for thrust, but my rhythm was off, and Dorian just shook his head and gripped my hip.
“Like this. I’ve got you.”
And I followed his motions, tilting my hips exactly like he wanted. And suddenly we were in sync, moving as one, as I raked my fingernails down his back.
“Fuck, yes, Wellesley.”
And then he was moving faster, his hand between us. When his thumb went over my clit, I shot off, coming once again and clamping down on his cock.
“Fuck,” he groaned, the word stretching.
But I couldn’t breathe, couldn’t think, I was all his.
And when he moved faster, and then slammed into me one last time, I couldn’t help but try to catch my breath. He buried his face in my shoulder and held onto me tightly as he came, and I tried to catch my own breath.
Because I had just lost my virginity to Dorian Cage. He was still deep inside me. And there was no going back. I held onto him, ignoring the tears that threatened.
This was the most magical moment of my life. And I still had no idea why it had happened. Or if it would ever happen again. But damn it, I was going to fight to make sure it did. Because I wanted Dorian Cage to be mine. I just had to prove to both of us that we deserved it.
Chapter 10
DORIAN
“The air feels good today, doesn’t it?” Joshua tilted his face up to the sky, the sun bouncing off his blondish curls. The man usually had dark brown hair, but sometimes, after spending far too much time in the sun, and under just the right light, his hair went full surf boy.
“The wind feels pretty good,” I said in answer, but I couldn’t feel the wind. I couldn’t feel much of anything. Perhaps though, I just wasn’t sitting under the right slice of sun. I moved forward, though my limbs felt sluggish. As if each movement took a little too much time.
