“Don’t you know generalizations are not always accurate?”
Shrugging, I tipped back my glass. “Not always, but usually. What did you say to him? He seemed frightened by the encounter.”
Mikhail took a deep breath, the darkness in his eyes conveying his dangerous appeal. “I simply reminded him that no woman should ever be treated with disrespect.”
“Hmmm… I guess I should feel grateful he listened to you.”
“He had no other choice. You have me curious. What does this unknown and unsatisfied woman crave?” He took the opportunity to refill the glasses. At least I’d splurged for an Uber instead of driving.
I tingled from the way he was looking at me, devouring me with his eyes.
“She prefers a man who takes control, engaging in rough and tumble actions versus my being told to lie still while he gets off for two minutes, pumping his load then rolling over.”
What are you doing? Are you crazy?
I knew I was playing with fire, but for once, I felt alive, my skin crackling with electricity while my pussy continued to throb.
“Ah. Should I take that as an experienced answer?”
Other than with my girlfriends, I’d never talked so openly with anything regarding sex. Perhaps because I hadn’t felt close enough to trust anyone I’d dated. Why I felt I could be completely open with the man was beyond me, but it was intensely exciting.
“Unfortunately, yes.”
“Then you’ve been around the worst of mankind. There are men who prefer pleasing a woman and gain great satisfaction from it.” He leaned forward after making the proclamation and given my position with my elbows in the center of the table, our lips were suddenly dangerously close.
For a quiet, sinful moment I was lost in his piercing eyes. His answer had awakened something deep within me, a longing that I’d shoved aside, my only sense of satisfaction coming from a tiny bullet vibrator I kept inside my nightstand under my Kindle housing two hundred and fourteen smutty romance novels.
My breath was scattered and as he rolled his pinky down my cheek, the flutter in my stomach intensified.
“Tell me,milyy angel, have you ever given yourself to a complete stranger for one night? No questions asked. No strings attached.”
“You mean a one-night stand?”
“No, beautiful lady. One-night stands are for the men you described earlier and women who’ve never experienced what true passion entails. I’m talking about giving all of yourself tosomeone who will do everything in his power to satisfy you in every way, fully surrendering to the darkness you believe only romance novels are able to provide.”
“Then the answer is no.” I found myself whispering, leaning even closer until I could feel his hot breath and gathered a stronger scent of his masculine aftershave.
“Is that something you crave or are you content with nothing more than wearing out the batteries on your vibrator?”
How did he… Maybe I should be insulted instead of feeling completely aroused.
What are you doing?
Are you out of your mind?
Are you seriously thinking about having sex with a stranger?
They were all very good questions with answers that insisted I’d lost track of reality. I was full of anxiety, my heart thrumming in my chest. Yet I wanted nothing more than to feel his lips on mine and to have him take full control of me.
The scent of Macallan flared in my nostrils, the mix of sandalwood and cardamom along with the zest of citrus igniting my senses.
“Answer the question,milyy angel.”
“Yes.” Oh, my God. I couldn’t believe I was doing this.
He took a deep breath as he traced my cheekbone with his pinky, ending with brushing the tip from one side of my jaw to the other. “It appears you don’t enjoy following rules.”
“Why would you say that?”
