Page 30 of Hooked On Him
It’s not fair how just one touch, one kiss with that man has me harder than stone.
Shoving my way into the bathroom, I make my way over to the sink and splash some cold water onto my face.
What the fuck was that? Way to draw attention to myself. I probably freaked Levi out, too. I just... fuck! Seeing him smile and flirt with that guy made me fucking crazy.
Just because I want him to be mine doesn’t mean he is. If I’m even going to have a chance at taking this dating thing from fake to real, I need to chill the fuck out before I scare him off.
The door to the bathroom opens. I lift my head to see Levi standing in the doorway.
My heart starts to pound against my ribs, my fingers curling around the edge of the sink as we stare at one another in the mirror.
“What was that?” he asks, finally speaking as he closes the bathroom door behind him.
“What do you mean?” I chuckle, running a hand through my hair, leaning against the sink casually.
“You just came up to the bar and kissed me?” Levi huffs.
“I did.” I nod.
“Why?”
“Well, the way it looked from the table, you were flirting with that guy.”
His brows furrow. “I was not. I was just being friendly.”
I snort a laugh. “You might have been, but that guy was practically drooling all over you.”
“He was not. He was just being nice.”
“Mhhmm,” I reply, taking a step towards him. “Nice.”
“Austin,” he lets out on a breath.
“Levi,” I tease, unable to stay away from him. I missed him. I crave him. He’s right here, within my grasp. “Everyone at the table knows we’re together. Seeing someone else flirt with you... I needed to do something.”
“Oh.” He blinks. “Shit, I didn't even think about that.”
“Don’t worry your pretty little head about it.” I reach up, brushing the piece of hair that fell onto his forehead to the side.
Levi’s eyes blaze with heat.
“Wanna tell me why you’ve been avoiding me all week?” I ask, cocking my head to the side.
He takes a step back, shoving his hands into his black slacks. “I haven’t been avoiding you. I’ve been busy.”
“Busy enough not to reply, but not busy enough to read my message?” I smirk.
He opens his mouth, closes it, and then opens it again. “I didn’t know what to say to you, okay? This thing between us.” He waves his hand from him to me. “It’s weird.”
“Weird?”
“Yes.”
“How so? Because I don’t think it’s weird.”
“You are my brother's best friend. We haven’t seen each other in years. And then when we do, we end up in this crazy situation. One that ended with you on your knees with my dick in your mouth,” he hisses.
“Mhhm.” I chuckle. “Best part of the night.”
