“I did.”

“Then let me in, George. I’m right outside.”

Chapter 15

When he opened the door, Mikey stepped in, taking George’s face in cold hands and kissing him roughly. His tongue slipped in and George welcomed it with his own, warm, inviting, and wet. George pulled him inside, never breaking the connection, allowing the door to close behind him.

When they separated, Mikey exhaled. “I’ve been wanting to do that again ever since the kitchen earlier.”

“Me too.”

George locked the door and when he turned back Mikey was on him again—but this time a full-fledged embrace, clutching, as if he may be taken away.

“Is this really happening?” he whispered.

“Yeah. Why wouldn’t it be?”

“Because I’ve wanted it for so long, George. But I wasn’t sure you felt the same.”

“I’m sorry—especially if I did anything to hurt or confuse you. It breaks my heart now just thinking about it. Sometimes I feel like I’m learning to live all over again.”

“I’m sorry if I rushed you.”

“You didn’t. You’ve been the perfect gentleman, Mikey. Well—” he chuckled, “—except maybe for eliciting a peep show out of me on the phone.”

“George, I’m—”

“Relax. I liked it. And I’m glad we did it. I should have embraced it sooner rather than denying it. It made me feel human again.”

“Good.”

“How are you feeling?”

“I’m feeling pretty horny right now, George.”

“Yeah?” He grinned. “Me too. There’s an old couch in the back.”

“That’ll do.”

He took Mikey’s hand and guided him back through the kitchen to the small room he used as an office.

When he turned, Mikey was on him again, fast. They kissed for a moment, then George pushed back a little.

“Hold up. Is it OK if we go slow?”

“Sure, George. I’m sorry. I’m such a doof.”

“No, you’re not. Stop saying that. I want this as much as you.”

“I don’t know if that’s possible.”

“Well, it’s true. Is it OK if I undress you?”

There was brief uneasiness in Mikey’s eyes, but he relented, nodding. George saw the swell in his pants and gave it a playful squeeze.

“I’m pretty hard, George.”

“I see that. Good. I’d be worried if you weren’t.”
