" H old still, princess," I murmur, trying to wrangle Amy's dark curls into something resembling the hairstyle Ginger had demonstrated.
"Pitty," she declares, touching the white flowers woven through her sister's already-done hair.
"Very pretty," I agree. Both girls wear matching white dresses, looking like tiny angels. If angels wear combat boots under their dresses because they refuse any other footwear.
Just like their mother.
A knock at the door has me looking up to find Duck, Adam perched on his hip.
The baby wears a tiny leather vest over his dress clothes, matching the ones the girls had insisted on wearing over their dresses.
They’re all branded with the new insignia, which matches the cuts Duck handed out proudly earlier that week.
"You ready?" Duck asks. "Your bride's getting antsy."
My heart skips. "She okay?"
"Nervous as hell." His eyes crinkle. "But happy. Real happy."
I finish Amy's hair, pressing a kiss to her forehead. "There. Perfect."
"Go," Duck says, somehow managing to wrangle all three kids. "I've got them. You've got somewhere to be."
The clubhouse has been transformed. Lights twinkle everywhere, white flowers softening the usual rough edges. Bikes line the lot, their chrome gleaming in the setting sun.
I take my place at the front of the aisle, fidgeting as I wait for the crowd to hush. Music begins to play, people rise from the seats, and all I see is Andi.
She appears in the doorway on Duck's arm, and my world stops. Her dress is simple, white lace that hugs her curves before flowing to the ground. But it's her smile that knocks me breathless.
The twins precede her down the aisle, tossing flower petals everywhere except the walkway. Adam, carried by Ginger, waves his tiny fist at everyone he passes, flashing his gummy smile at their attention.
Then Andi is there, taking my hand, and nothing else matters.
We'd written our own vows. Simple promises we intend to keep.
"I promise to always come home to you," I say, sliding the ring onto her finger.
"I promise to let you help carry the load," she replies, her voice shaking slightly as she gives me my ring.
The party afterward descends into chaotic delight, bikes revving, kids running everywhere, music and laughter filling the night. The twins dance with Steel while Adam is passed from arms to arms, collectively making the entire club fall in love with him.
"Happy?" I ask, pulling Andi close as we watch our family celebrate.
"Perfect," she says, leaning into me. "Though I think Abby just convinced Axel to let her sit on his bike."
I glance over to where our daughter is indeed climbing onto the enforcer's prized Harley, her dress hitched up to her knees.
"Should we stop her?"
Andi laughs. "Nah. She's got him wrapped around her finger almost as bad as you."
"Like mother, like daughter."
She turns in my arms, pressing close. "I love you."
"Love you too, little lamb." I kiss her soft and sweet. "Always will."
Around us, the party rages on. Our crazy, beautiful, mixed-up family celebrating in the only way we know how.
Loud, chaotic, and full of love.
Fucking perfect.
