Page 28 of Gluttony (Seven Deadly Sins #4)
Chapter Twenty
Hadley
The way she says my name while her body is still shaking from her latest orgasm has my balls tightening, ready to blow right then and there. Instead, I slow down.
“That’s my good Little Rabbit.” Sliding in and out, I pull away from her mouth and watch my cock getting swallowed by her slick pussy.
Her whimpering moans are addictive, I want to rip this condom off and fuck her bare, but we’ll have to get our doctor to check her out first. At least my cum is still in her system.
Grinning, I squeeze one of her rounded tits and pinch her nipple through her shirt and bra.
It’s hard, like a small pebble, making it easy to find.
With one palm tight on her thigh, I slide the other up to her pretty little throat and watch as her plump lips part on another moan, her eyes flashing wide as her chest literally heaves with lust.
“Give me one more orgasm.” Slapping her thigh, I move my hand to her pussy and trap her clit between my thumb and forefinger, rubbing at it, pressing against it, pinching it again and again.
“I can’t…” Her panting breaths are coming in thick and fast, her green eyes almost disappearing into the back of her head as her next orgasm begins to roll through her body. She screams out with an almost animalistic groan of pleasure, her pussy strangling my cock, and I’m ready to blow.
“Fuck!” I roar out my own release and she squeezes out every ounce of cum as she pulses around me, her whole body tensing and her grip on my arms so tight I hope she leaves bruises.
For a few minutes, neither of us moves, and I bring my head back down to hers, my hands cupping her arse. Kissing her feels like the sweetest dopamine hit to ever exist, and fucking her is my new favorite drug.
I don’t give a fuck that she came into our lives to rob us, that she’s had an agenda the whole time she’s known us.
I know people, and she’s not all that invested in this con she’s supposed to have been running.
She’s enjoying herself with us, with this job.
It’s clear in the way her eyes light up when she’s deep into her paperwork, when she sees or speaks to one of us.
There’s no faking what she’s selling. She’s good, but she ain’t that good.
“That was…” Her breathing is still heavy as her words whisper over my lips. They’re so close, mere millimeters away.
“Fucking brilliant. I know.” I chuckle, planting a final kiss on her forehead before gripping my dick and pulling out. After dealing with the condom, I throw it in the wastebasket and zip up my jeans.
“Hadley?” The way her voice comes out so small from behind me makes me frown.
“Yeah?” Turning to her, I note the way her body language is now closed off, no longer open for me the way it was a few minutes ago.
The way she’s crossed one leg over the other, one of her palms rubbing nervously up and down her opposite arm, and her head is slightly lowered as she looks to the ground; they’re all telltale signs of doubt. Nervousness. Secrets.
“I think I need to talk to you…to tell yo—”
“No. What I don’t need right now is for those luscious lips of yours to spout anymore lies. So cheer the fuck up. What we just did was perfectly natural. Sort yourself out and get your arse home.”
The fact that she could be doubting what just happened is kinda gutting. It was fucking magical, not something to be ashamed of. I hope to play more games like that with her, she was so fucking perfect…
Taking a deep breath, I give her a wink, blow her a kiss, and leave. It looks as though she wants to say something, but I’m out of my office before she has a chance. Or at least before I hear anything.
I make my way to the ground floor in the elevator, the grin on my face feeling a new permanent feature.
Now I’ve had her, I have to keep her, I just need Hayes and Orion to agree with me.
I know they’re both jonesing for a bit of Bowie, they’re just denying themselves for stupid fucking reasons.
I’ve fucked her now though, so all bets are off.
Fuck the fact that she’s a grifter, fuck the fact that she’s technically an employee, she belongs with the three of us.
Fifteen minutes later, my truck is idling out the front of the building as I wait for our Little Rabbit. She’s taking her sweet time. Finally, she appears through the glass doors, pushing them open and waving goodbye to our security guards on the night shift.
What jars me is when I watch her head in the direction she used to turn when she was staying in her own apartment.
No. Not having that bullshit.
Turning off the engine and grabbing the keys, because I’m not about to get carjacked, I jump out of the truck and jog up behind Bowie. She flinches when I grab her and spin her around.
“What the fuck, Hadley?” She holds a palm to her chest and catches her breath.
“What the fuck, me? What the fuck, you, Little Rabbit. Where do you think you’re going?” I link my fingers with hers and just hold her hand beside me.
She frowns a little, looks down at our joined hands, then back up at me with a questioning squint in her eyes.
“Er, home?”
Shaking my head, I smirk. “Silly Rabbit. Your new home. With us. Not that shitty little apartment you used to call home. Your landlord is letting it out to someone new after I had the movers bring your stuff over to the penthouse this afternoon.”
Her eyes widen. “You did what now?”
I love it when she gets heated. Shrugging, I turn and pull her toward my truck.
“No, you don’t get to drag me around after saying something like that.”
“Yeah I do, you’ll catch up soon enough, but you belong to us now. You live with us.”
She doesn’t look completely happy about the new circumstances, but it’s done.
She didn’t have a lot of stuff anyway, just some clothes and a few other things, my favorite being her little box of the origami I’ve been making her.
Like they’re her own personal treasures.
I figured giving her one tonight would let her know that it’s been me all along, especially as she seems to like them so much.
I know she picked that vulture up and has it in her bag right now, ready to join the others in the new little pile she’s made in the drawer of what is no longer our guest room, but her room.
Eventually she’ll spend most of her nights with one of us, or more…
I’m open to fucking Orion, or being fucked by Orion.
Anything to get our girl off and make her smile.
“I really don’t. I have my own apartment, my own space, and you don’t control any of that. I’ve only been staying with you because…” She pauses and shakes her head as I open the passenger door of my truck and help her inside. “I don’t know why, but I need to go home.”
“Like I said, it’s already done. I could take you back to your old apartment, but you’d be disturbing a very lovely old lady called Sandra, and her two cats, Bob and Sushi, who have all settled into their new home and are probably getting ready for bed.”
She moves to strap herself in, the cutest pout on her lips, but I grab the seat belt and clip it in for her, enjoying the way her breath hitches as I lean across her. Closing the door, I round the truck and get in the driver’s side, taking the time to strap myself in before starting the engine.
“For the record, I’m not happy about this.” She doesn’t look at me as she speaks, she stays staring ahead, watching the road.
“Don’t need you to be happy about it, just accept it.”
“Hmm.”
I chuckle and reach over to grip her hand, pulling it from where she’s picking at her fingernails and holding it between us. The action feels so natural, and she doesn’t try to stop me or move away.
“Do you know where my panties went?”
We’re almost home when her quiet voice interrupts the silence with a question that definitely doesn’t erase the smile on my face. In fact, it only makes it grow larger.
“In my pocket.”
“What?! I spent ages looking for those when you left me. If Ginny had found them in the morning, I’d be mortified. I even checked beneath the desk.” She huffs. It’s cute. Then she tries to pull her hand away but I tighten my grip. She isn’t getting away that easily.
“As if I’d leave such a thing for anyone to find.” Shaking my head, I slow down as I near our building.
“You’re relentless.”
“I know.”
After parking the truck in the underground garage, I unstrap both of our seat belts and climb out, quickly walking around to open the passenger door for Bowie. I offer her my hand, which she takes with ease, even with the pout still puckering her lips.
We enter the elevator and I use my thumbprint to take us to the top floor, riding up in what feels like a comfortable silence.
This evening has been a lot for her, I realize that, but she did so well.
I wasn’t planning on breaking the news about her apartment so abruptly, either, but it just came out.
It needed to be done, she wasn’t safe there.
“I’m going to my room.” She tries to pull her hand away, again, as soon as we enter the penthouse, but I hold her and bring her closer to me.
“What’s wrong?” Her eyes don’t hold their usual sparkle, like there’s a war happening behind them. “And no more lies.” I pin her with my gaze, ready to detect any dishonesty.
“I…” Glancing off to the side, she sighs, but I grip her chin and force her to face me, gently stroking my thumb over her cheek. “I think I need time to process. A lot of things are…different now. I just need some space is all.”
I can see the truth in her words, and I respect the hell out of it.
“Okay, Little Rabbit. We’ll call you for dinner.” I kiss her forehead, and this time her sigh is more whimsical.
“I’ll get myself something later. I’m not hungry. Thanks.”
