Isaac

It was different working with someone I was seeing.

Well really, both things were different because not once had there been anyone I admitted to seeing.

I was a lone wolf on the prowl. Well, I thought I was, but really, I was a lonely pup looking for some warmth, and now I’d found that warmth in Tig.

“Hey, what did you want to do after work?” he asked me as soon as I arrived. It had been a few weeks since we’d started spending more time together, and since those first blowjobs, we’d spent most nights getting each other off.

I smirked in his direction, making him laugh. “You know what I want to do,” I said.

He stopped and looked me up and down. Taking his time and letting me know he loved what he saw. He mashed his lips together in a line and shook his head. “You have no idea all the things I want to do to you,” he whispered as he leaned in close.

“Do it,” I said. “Seriously, do it!” He laughed as he walked off in the direction of his work area leaving me half hard and wanting more. Exactly like he probably wanted. “Fucker, he’s better at this game than I am,” I grumbled but smiled. He’d make it up to me later.

“You two seem to be getting along well,” Roger said as he fell in line with me and we walked into the control room where we’d been working yesterday.

He’d decided we needed to go over all the wiring we could get to just to make sure everything was in working order.

I didn’t mind at all; it was better than sitting around doing nothing or cleaning out one of the silos.

“Yeah, he’s a nice guy. Do you remember when he lived here when he was in school?”

“Not really, but he’s a little younger than my kids would have been,” Roger said.

“Are you sure? He’s pretty old,” I said, making him chuckle.

“He may not like you saying that.”

“Eh, I give him shit all the time.”

“Why does that not surprise me.” We talked a while longer and he explained everything we’d be doing today. It was a good job, and I found myself hoping it lasted longer than some of the other ones had.

“Want to meet me at Nuts and Bolts later?” I asked Tig when we were leaving for the day.

“Sure. Did you have plans with Jack?”

“Not really, but I thought after we say hello then you could stay the night. It’s Friday, we finally have time to . . .” His eyes widened before he kissed my cheek.

“I’ll go home and meet you there. Staying the night sounds good.”

“Is that all that sounds good?” I was on a roll today and I could see he was imagining us together fucking like bunnies.

“I’ll show you what sounds good later,” he said and just before he got in his truck he turned around and walked back to me. “I mean it.” He squeezed my arm before walking away while I tried to control my body’s reaction to thinking about later.

We’d done everything we could think of that didn’t involve him putting his dick in my ass.

Not that we didn’t want to. It was more that once we got started on one thing, neither of us were strong enough to stop when we were already enjoying ourselves.

Everything was still new, and I loved it.

Plus, I’d never been one to want to wake up next to someone I hooked up with, but Tig was different, and I missed him when we didn’t spend the night together.

As soon as I got in my truck, I dialed Jack, and he picked up on the first ring. “Hey, asshole, what’s going on,” he asked. “Isaac?”

“Yeah, hey. Did you and Hudson have plans for the night?”

“Just the usual. Kick back on the couch and watch Bake-Off,” he said.

“Watch what? Never mind. How about we go out and have a beer after you close?”

“Hudson, Isaac wants to know if we want to go have a beer after work,” he yelled not even bothering to cover the phone. “He says yes.”

“Okay, we’ll meet you at Nuts and Bolts.” I hung up just as I was turning onto my street. A car out front got my attention and not in a good way. I pulled up and hurried up the steps of my house and as I was about to unlock the door I heard someone behind me.

“Hey, sexy, I haven’t seen you around lately and thought I’d stop by.” He leaned in for a kiss while I pulled back to avoid it.

“Stan? What are you doing here?” Stan was from the next town over and after Jack found Hudson, I’d hooked up with him a few times. Well maybe more than a few.

“I was working over this way today and since I knew where you live, I wanted to surprise you. I’ve really missed you.”

“I haven’t seen you since before Christmas,” I said and gave him a glare that I hoped left no room for him misunderstanding how I felt about him just showing up at my house.

“Yeah, I got a little busy, but not anymore. I’m free as a bird and looking for some fun.” He stepped closer and grinned. “Want to have some fun?” he whispered.

I took a step back and put my hand on his chest. “No. I have plans. I was just stopping here to change before I meet my boyfriend for a night out,” I lied, Tig and I hadn’t progressed from dating to boyfriends yet, but Stan didn’t know that, and I liked the way it sounded.

He immediately stepped back and raised his hands. “I am so sorry. I had no idea. You know I’m not into that cheating shit.”

“Yeah, me either and I really like him, so I’d rather not fuck it all up,” I said, and it was probably the most honest thing I’d said all day. “He matters.”

“Alright then. Well, if you’re ever free again, give me a call. We always had a lot of fun.” He grinned at me but this time there was no heat in it.

“I will, but I’m hoping it lasts longer than that,” I said, once again being honest with him, and myself. “Now I’ve got to get going.”

“No worries, have a good night,” he said and hurried off to his car. I walked inside and locked the door behind me and hurried off to the bathroom. More anxious than before to spend the evening with Tig.
