Meagan: Are your parents psyched?

Lia: Haven’t told them yet.

Paloma: Seriously? How are you keeping it in?

Lia: I guess I’m still trying to process it myself.

Sophia: Tell them tonight. Then tell us how it goes.

Lia: No way. I’m going to wait until after Christmas.

Meagan: What? Why?

Lia: I’m not sure “psyched” is how they’ll feel.

Paloma: But it’s a huge accomplishment. CVU’s super competitive.

Lia: They’ll be proud. Probably. It’s the early decision thing.

Paloma: They want you to have options.

Sophia: But if CVU is what you really want…
