When we last spent time with our characters, Delaney’s mates had run a life-giving train on her in order to save Leo from a life of geologic contemplation.

Zac the headmaster was in the middle of railing his mate when his bitch of a sister showed up to try and ruin the party, likely getting scarred for life.

But like, totally her fault, right? Who just shows up onto somebody else’s balcony during a sex ritual?

Right as Shelly is about to perform some definitely-not-sexy-magic on Delaney and Leo, she’s frozen and her magic is neutralized, and a shadow daddy shows up at the door asking for admittance.

Said shadow daddy reveals himself to be there for Delaney, at which point she informs him her system has been fried from the amount of dick she just took in succession and can’t decide whether she should let him in or not.

Delaney is really into him until she realizes he’s the demon she’s been hearing about, and that he’s there to collect on the marriage contract. You know the one, the contract that was only valid if she slept with the guy?

Well, joke’s on her, because when he transformed back to his more human-looking skin, she was enraged to find out that she slept with him years ago; in fact, he was the first boy she ever slept with, and has definitely dreamed about him a time or two since.

But then she gets like, super mad because that means he was only at that party to trick her into sleeping with him so that she’d have to marry him.

Let’s see what happens next, shall we?
