Every thrust stole the breath from my lungs.
He held my throat—not choking, just cradling it. Thumb resting beneath my jaw like he was tracking the flutter of my pulse.
“Say it,”he growled. “Tell me who your body belongs to.”
“You,”I gasped, nearly sobbing. “You—fuck—please don’t stop.”
“Never.”
His pace turned savage.
He gripped under my knees and pulled them around his hips, folding me in half. The angle changed. Deeper now. So deep he hit that spot inside me that made stars burst behind my eyes. My back arched, mouth open in a soundless scream.
He felt it. Saw it.
“You’re gonna come,”he said, nearly incoherent.
“No,”I begged. “Not yet—”
But it was already happening.
My body betrayed me. The orgasm ripped through me like lightning, my cunt clamping down around him, desperate to keep him inside.
I screamed. Shook.
That did it.
His thrusts turned frantic. Brutal. Every motion slammed bone against bone, skin against skin. Sweat streaked his chest. Then he let go.
With a raw, broken groan, he shoved deep—deeper—and came inside me. Hot, endless pulses of thick seed spilled into me. I felt it bloom through my belly. His hips jerked with every release, fingers digging into my thighs so hard I knew I’d bruise. “These thighs... so full, so strong. All mine now.. All mine.”His whole body shook as the orgasm tore through him.
We stayed like that—locked, gasping, ruined.
My body still twitched as aftershocks rolled through me. My thighs trembled, slick and messy. His come was already leaking from me in warm trails.
His helmet dropped to rest on my good shoulder.
Our chests heaved in tandem. The only sound was breath. Flesh. Silence thick with something new.
Chapter 22
The moment our breathing steadied, the sirens began to wail. Deep, bone-rattling sounds that seemed to come from the walls themselves. He pulled away from me, zipping himself up in one swift motion.
“What’s happening?”I asked, scrambling to wrap the sheet around myself.
“The Judge is summoning me.”His helmet turned toward the workshop’s exit, the red eye slits dimming. “He knows you’re here. His sponsa doloris. With me. What we did.”
My blood ran cold. “But you killed the Mirror Eater. You destroyed her completely so he wouldn’t know—”
He said nothing.
The Judge knew. Had always known. And now he was calling his Executioner back—along with whatever I had become in his eyes.
The sirens grew louder, echoing through the building above, bouncing off stone and metal until they formed a symphony of warning.
“What will happen?”I asked.
“Punishment,”he said.
