“That's it," I growl against her ear. "Stop fighting it. Let us take care of you."
She tries to hold back at first, but August doesn't give her a choice. His hands lock on her hips, and when he sucks hard on her clit she fucking screams. So loud the others probably have to step outside before they lose their minds completely. Her nailstear into my arms, but I want it. Want her to use me, cling to me, know I'll keep her safe.
When she comes, it's like watching her shatter and rebuild all at once. Body going rigid, then melting completely as the orgasm tears through her. August slows but doesn't stop, works her through every aftershock. Kisses up her stomach, gentle, licking the sweat from her skin. She's limp in my arms, but her eyes are open, wet with tears she doesn't notice.
"Wow." Just breathed out, like she can't believe what just happened.
"That was perfect," I tell her. "You did so good."
August brushes hair from her face, kisses her forehead. "You're perfect."
We move her up the bed, tuck her between us like something precious. She doesn't hide, just burrows closer, her face pressing against my bare chest. I stroke her hair, her back, every part I can reach.
August nuzzles her neck, nose buried in her hair. He's shaking too, barely holding together. I reach across her, lace fingers with his. He squeezes tight.
None of us say anything for a while. Nothing to say. The silence is full of everything we can't put into words.
Finally, she speaks. Voice hoarse but wondering. "Is it always like that?"
I laugh quiet, afraid to break the spell. "Never felt like that before."
She frowns. "Felt like what?"
I search for words. "With you, it's not just about getting off. It's like... I want to keep you safe. Make you happy. More than just need."
She smiles, shaky but real. "I like how it feels."
"Good," August whispers. "Because we're never letting you go."
She laughs, bright and clean. Then she turns, surprises us both, kisses August deep. When she finishes, turns to me, kisses me too. Can't help but believe her when she says she wants this.
We hold her between us, all three shivering, air thick with her scent, with want, with something like love. Don't know what happens tomorrow. But right now, this is enough. More than enough.
"Thank you," she whispers. Eyes bright, curious. Not sleepy at all.
"For what?"
"For being gentle. For making me feel wanted. Beautiful."
"You are beautiful." Kiss to the top of her head. Breathing in her satisfied scent. "Amazing. So fucking brave."
She turns to look at both of us, something shifting in her expression. "What about you two?" she asks, voice hushed but clear. "Don't you need...?" Her eyes flick between us, and there's nervousness in her scent, but curiosity drowns it out.
August and I share a look over her head, and I see my own hunger reflected in his eyes.
Chapter 26
Daisy
Cassian reaches for his discarded t-shirt without breaking eye contact with August. "Put this on," he says softly, pulling the black cotton over my head. It swallows me whole, hanging to my thighs and carrying his scent like a security blanket. Rain and musk and something purely him that makes my omega instincts purr with contentment.
August and Cassian look at each other. That shared look from moments before turning into silent agreement. August's pupils dilate, and Cassian's scent spikes with want so sharp it cuts through the warm, fuzzy feeling still floating through my body. Cassian's hand slides to August's neck, pulling him closer.
Holy shit.
That's all I can think as they lean toward each other.Holy shit, holy shit, holy shit.
The words feel foreign in my head. I've never sworn before, not even in my thoughts. But nothing else fits what I'm seeing.
