I studied his expression and deciphered the true context of his words. “Are you trying to imply that Ismerelda has something to do with his ability to break through our security walls?”

“She is one of the changes,” Michael pointed out. “It could be that she was the inspiration he needed to push his way into the system or, more likely, there’s something she’s done that has allowed his interference.”

I stared at him. “She was dead and locked up when he breached our systems, Michael. She’s not helping him, if that’s what you’re implying.”
