Instead of removing my shirt, I clutched the fabric tighter around my throat to try and hide my flushed skin as much as possible, and kept my hips angled down toward the seat so they couldn’t see the evidence of my arousal.

“It’s fine. I’m just... a little under the weather.”

It took everything I had to keep my voice from shaking.

“That’s right,” Kayden agreed as he opened the passenger door. “He’s a bit sick, so we’re going to take him to a doctor to help him get better. That means I need you two to stay here for a bit. My friend, Brody, is also going to be staying here with you, so he’ll take care of you while we’re gone.”

The kids tried to protest, but Kayden was already lifting Robyn out of the truck. It took some convincing, but eventually, the kids were left with Brody, while Magnus got behind the wheel and started the ignition.

Kayden was about to climb into the back seat with me, when I grabbed his arm and stopped him.

“You should ride up front.”

He stared at me in confusion for a second, before a light of understanding flickered behind his eyes.

If Kayden was too close to me, I may not be able to control myself, and Magnus was right there in the front seat.

I may be a little more comfortable with my sexuality now, but I was definitely not interested in exhibitionism.

Despite it being my own request, I still struggled to let go of Kayden once I had a hold of him. He had to forcefully remove my hand from his arm, then, with one last uncertain look, he climbed into the front passenger seat.

I was left alone, sprawled face down on the back seat as the truck drove down the rough terrain of the mountain’s backroads.

There was no way to get comfortable. Every bump that the truck hit caused me to slide a bit against the seat, and the friction of the seat’s upholstery against my skin nearly had me moaning obscenely.

I had to bite my lip until it bled to keep myself quiet.

I barely remembered the drive. I was so focused on controlling my reactions, that I may as well have been unconscious. We could have driven to the other side of the country, and I wouldn’t have noticed, I was so lost inside my own head.

My awareness of my surroundings came and went in waves. Sometimes, I would notice that the truck was completely silent, and sometimes there would be voices talking quietly.

One time I came back to awareness and found a very strange conversation happening. It took me a while to realize that I was the topic of the conversation, but I hoped that neither Magnus nor Kayden had anything negative to say.

“Creed doesn’t trust people easily,” Magnus was saying while keeping his eyes on the road.

“So, it says a lot that he trusts you. That must mean that you’re a good person.

However, I still have to make one thing clear.

” He took his eyes off the road just long enough to stare at Kayden.

It was just a brief glance before he had to turn his gaze back to the uneven road, but that brief second of eye contact would be enough to make a grown man fear for his life.

“If you hurt him, the police will never find your body.”

With a solemn nod, Kayden raised three fingers near his temple.

“A Scout’s Honor probably doesn’t mean much coming from me since I was only a scout for, like, two weeks, but it’s the best I can do.

I promise I won’t hurt him. He’s been my closest friend for almost as long as I can remember.

Even when he was serving overseas, when I thought he was straight and I didn’t have a chance, his well being always came first for me. Nothing will change that.”

I never heard Magnus’s response. That was as long as my awareness lasted. Like a tidal wave crashing against the beach, I was pulled under the tide of my own desires again, and it took everything to keep myself still and quiet in the backseat.

The next time I realized what was happening around me, I was being hauled out of the truck.

I struggled for a moment, thinking I’d been kidnapped again, until I recognized Kayden and Magnus beside me.

They brought me out of the truck and into a motel room, where I was promptly dumped onto a piece of furniture that was almost too hard to be called a bed.

“Sorry about the shabby accommodations,” Magnus said as he closed the front door behind us. “But I figured this was better than dragging you through a hotel lobby. Maybe it would have been better to stay at the lake house, after all. The bed would at least be more comfortable.”

Magnus was talking to me, but I couldn’t do much more than grunt, so Kayden responded for me.

“I don’t think either of us would feel comfortable in the place where Creed was kept captive,” he insisted, lingering near the bed but not touching me more than necessary. “This’ll be fine. At least it’ll be better than being out in the middle of the woods.”

Magnus raised an eyebrow, and based on what I knew of him, I was fairly sure he desperately wanted to ask if the two of us ever had sex out in the woods, but he restrained himself. With a few last awkward words, he explained that he’d be staying out in the truck until we were ready to leave.

Then he shut the door behind him, and Kayden and I were alone.

I should have been ecstatic. Ever since our first time together, back on the first night of our original hiking trip, I’d been looking forward to finally spending time with him back in civilization, with a proper bed and a room around us that wouldn’t collapse at the slightest gust of wind.

But this was not how I wanted it to happen.

Reaching out, I tugged at his wrist.

“I’m sorry.”

“Hey, no.” He quickly sat on the bed beside me and took my hand within his own. “None of this is your fault.”

“This isn’t...” The words died on my tongue. I couldn’t find the right thing to say. In frustration, I let my face fall back onto the bed and spoke directly into the mattress. “You deserve better than this.”

Kayden’s hand pressed against the back of my neck. “I deserve you, and that’s what I’ve got. Now, you’re burning up. We need to take care of this drug in your system.”

He rolled me over onto my back and started unbuttoning my shirt. Even this small skin-to-skin contact, as his fingers brushed against my chest, sent thrills of pleasure up my spine. But with a desperate surge of energy, I grabbed his hands to stop him.

“No, it shouldn’t... you shouldn’t be obligated to do this.”

I thought I was being considerate, but Kayden just laughed at me and batted my hands away so he could remove my shirt. “Creed, being with you is never an obligation. This is something I’d want to do regardless. I’m just glad I can help you so easily. Now, lie back and let me take care of you.”

With a deft agility that honestly surprised me, he removed the rest of my clothes before I even realized what was happening. The air on my naked skin was like a cold glass of water on a hot day, refreshing and satisfying in a way that I hadn’t realized was possible.

But it didn’t stop there.

Once I was undressed, his own clothing was quickly discarded as well. All the lights in the motel room were still on. I could see every inch of him better than every before, and I wanted him.

My mouth ran dry, and I reached for him, but he slapped my hands away and pinned them to the bed,

“No. You relax. I said I’d take care of you and that’s exactly what I’m going to do.”

While locking eyes with me to ensure that I followed his direction and stayed still, he slid down my body until he was lying between my legs.

At first, his lips and tongue were gentle on my skin, kissing and licking everywhere except my desperately throbbing cock. It seemed like he was trying to gauge how sensitive I was, but the butterfly touches were driving me crazy and making the heat in my skin burn even hotter.

“Don’t tease,” I said through gritted teeth. “I can’t take it.”

“Sorry,” he whispered against my skin, though he didn’t sound the least bit apologetic. “I didn’t want to overwhelm you, but I won’t make you wait any longer.”

He immediately made good on his word. Without another moment of hesitation, his mouth descended on me and swallowed me whole.

As his head bobbed up and down on my cock, I had to close my eyes to block out the sight.

I was already so close to the edge, that it would take very little to tip me over the edge, and I wanted to enjoy it for at least a little while.

Kayden’s attention was too good to rush.

Despite my best efforts, I still couldn’t last very long.

Not when my blood was boiling inside my skin and even the very air in my lungs seemed over-sensitive.

Before I knew it, I was coming down his throat with a shout.

My whole body shook from the force of it, and when the pleasure finally subsided, I collapsed onto the bed in a sweaty, panting mess.

I was still hard. Despite how good Kayden’s mouth on me felt, the drug in my system still wouldn’t let go. The aftershocks of my orgasm were still singing through my body, and I already wanted to go again.

“Hmm, someone’s definitely eager,” Kayden said when he noticed my aroused state. He idly stroked my cock a few times, and even just that much was enough to send my whole body thrashing.

He let go of my erection and then pressed a kiss to my forehead.

“Don’t worry. I’ll take care of you. Just give me a minute to get ready.”

At some point while I’d been fading in and out of consciousness in the car, Magnus must have stopped at a store, because Kayden held up a plastic shopping bag that I hadn’t noticed before. He dumped the newly bought condoms and lube onto the bed and started tearing open the packages.

I should have helped him, but my thoughts were swimming inside my head like my brain had turned to soup. All I could do was lie there and watch him as he rolled a condom over my cock before using the lube to prepare himself.
