Kyth (kith—rhymes with “smith”) – A clone of a moden gladiator. He is extremely large and has webbed fingers and toes. His first khui died. So did his second. And his third.
Valmir (VAL-meer) – A clone of a praxiian gladiator. He is very catlike. Supposed to be resonating to April, though neither will claim the other.
Chalath (CHUH-lath—rhymes with “bath”) – A male splice that looks to be equal parts mesakkah and praxii. Kinda bossy.

Noj’me the Attendant (NAWJ-may) – A female of the ancestors. Can speak the old Sakh tongue thanks to her “communication” with the Oracle (which is a downed escape pod).
Kin’far the Exile (KIN-fawr) – A creep.
Bel’eb the Mighty (BELL-ebb) – The chief of the ancestors.
So’ran the Bitter — leader of the rebels, childhood friend of Rem’eb.
Cas’zor the Worthy – A very esteemed male of the ancestors, advises the chief. Brother to Tan’zor the Careful.
