Story: City Of Witches
0% 1.
Sharon and Amelia.
At this point, neither of them was sipping their teas.
To anyone watching, this might have seemed like a childish squabble, but the two of them were dead serious.
The only thing in their heads that mattered right now was to put the other in her place.
To Amelia, Sharon Evergreen was a powerful rival.
She was drop dead gorgeous, and no one could deny that.
Her lush green hair radiated vitality, her mint-colored eyes sparkled with a rare brilliance, her features were as refined as a purebred cat that wouldn’t allow anyone but its owner to touch it, and her body had curves that Amelia couldn’t hope to compete with.
All those combined, the odds weren’t exactly in Amelia’s favor.
Amelia, who had never even thought about her own sex appeal, let alone others’, was now painfully aware of such things thanks to Sharon’s provocation.
The other woman’s breasts were a weapon of massive destruction on their own.
But, Amelia wouldn’t let herself go down so easily.
Besides, the thought of stepping back just because she was lacking in some part of her body only made her pride sting even more.
“Ms. Sharon, there’s a saying, ‘Too much is as bad as too little’.”
“Oh my, and what exactly do you mean by that, Ms. Amelia?”
“What I meant to say is, it isn’t about them being large. It’s more important to have a refined way of dressing and a good figure rather than just obvious vulgarity. For example, if even slightly baggy clothes make you look sluggish, wouldn’t it be as bad as not wearing anything?”
Amelia said calmly as she recalled Sophia’s struggle in the past.
Her best friend used to complain about how hard it was to find pretty dresses that fit her well, how she’d look fat if her dress was even slightly loose.
Back when she heard it, Amelia found her grumble annoying, thinking, ‘Why is she telling me this?’, but now she found this little tidbit oddly useful.
“Ah, yes, you’re right. Finding the right clothes does take a lot of effort.”
But Sharon, who had been eyeing Amelia with a ‘Let’s see where this is going’ look, smiled brightly as if her words didn’t faze her.
“Right?”
“But honestly, the ‘outfit’ Siwoo likes best, though it’s really embarrassing for me to say...is my naked body, so, I don’t really need to worry about what I wear. Thank you for your concern, though.”
Sure enough, she brushed Amelia’s attack off as if it was nothing.
Not only that, she even landed a cross-counter.
“Besides, Siwoo complimented me plenty. I couldn’t care less about how I look to others.”
Amelia stared at Sharon, her expression completely frozen in shock, as if she had just been smacked in the face.
She realized that if this kept up, she’d lose the battle entirely.
Which meant, she had to strike back with something more powerful.
Even if it meant throwing away her pride, she had to fight back.
“You’re right. The most fleeting kind of love is when someone only loves you for how you look.”
“Mhm, mhm.”
“After all, what truly matters is how deep your love is, how much you’re willing to sacrifice for the person you care about.”
“You’re absolutely right.”
Swallowing hard, Amelia continued.
“I...told Siwoo that I’d be his slave... The whole...’night service’ thing...was part of that...”
To admit what went on in bed was beyond humiliating.
But, that was the most solid proof she could give out, to show the other woman that she was more than willing to give up her pride and dignity—to dedicate everything for Siwoo.
“I even...told him that he could do whatever he wants with my body...”
With burning red cheeks as she delivered her desperate counterattack, she stared directly at Sharon.
But, between the two of them, it was only her that was flustered.
Sharon was just sitting there, throwing her a sweet smile full of composure.
“In that sense, we’re quite alike. I’d be willing to do anything for his sake too.
From acting cute like a kitten to acting like a caring older sister, I did it all for him.
Sometimes, we even did things that are too embarrassing to even mention—anyone would blush just from the thought of it.
Seriously, I’m such a mess... If I knew how to say no once in a while, maybe Siwoo wouldn’t have developed such perverted habits. ..”
“W-What...?!”
No matter how much Amelia tried to compete, Sharon had already spent a long time with Siwoo.
When it came to experience and diversity in their sexual plays, Sharon and Siwoo had already reached a whole different level.
After rubbing that in, Sharon mercilessly followed with another attack, leaving Amelia—who was still wearing a dumbfounded expression—with no room to recover.
“There was this one time when we found ourselves in an alley. Heat of the moment caught us and we ended up making out passionately, covered by the morning dew.”
“A-An...alley...?”
“Ah, right, about that, Siwoo seems to secretly enjoy outdoor escapades. There was even a time when we did it in a shop’s changing room...”
“C-C-Changing room...?”
“Yes~ Oh, if only you knew how hard it was to tone your voice down in that kind of situation~”
At that moment, Amelia recalled the conversation she’d had with Sophia.
‘You do it on the bed, right?’
‘Usually, yes.’
‘What if it isn’t ‘usually’?’
‘Then you can do it anywhere, as long as no one’s watching.’
At that time, Amelia had taken Sophia’s ‘anywhere’ as ‘anywhere indoor’.
Like the bathroom, the living room, or the kitchen.
And now she realized that wasn’t it.
‘Anywhere’ literally meant anywhere.
Even in a changing room when one shouldn’t normally do that passionate act between a man and a woman.
While Amelia had grown more open-minded about such things, she was still stiff in a lot of aspects, so the first time she just criticized Sharon’s behavior.
“...That’s way too shameless. You are not stray dogs or alley cats...”
“Is Ms. Amelia trying to say that she wouldn’t let Siwoo do that sort of thing?”
“...”
“Well, I suppose that’s the limit of how far you could go for him.”
Seeing Sharon’s sly smile, Amelia’s temper flared.
What did she mean by ‘the limit’?
Amelia believed that as long as she had enough time to prepare herself, and if Siwoo really wanted to do it, she’d be willing to give it a try.
“I could do it too.”
“Didn’t you call it a shameless behavior fit for stray dogs or alley cats a moment ago?”
“R-Regardless, if Siwoo wants it, I’d do it.”
“Talking big is easy.”
“I’m serious.”
“Regardless, I’ve already done that, which means I’m a little ahead of you right now, no?”
The two of them continued their relentless battle of words for another ten minutes.
Though their exchange seemed polite on the surface, it felt more like a hair-pulling fight, and at the end, Amelia realized...
That she had played all her cards.
Every time, she had been the first to grow flustered, while the other woman handled every one of her attacks with ease.
Unlike her, who struggled to maintain her composure, the other woman smiled throughout.
Whether that smile was genuine or just a front though, she couldn’t tell.
“...”
“So, do you have anything else to add, Ms. Amelia?”
“...It was a pleasant conversation, Ms. Sharon.”
“Likewise, Ms. Amelia. I’ll see you at dinner.”
“Yes.”
Since they were already scheduled to meet again at the banquet, and since Amelia felt too overwhelmed to continue, she opted to retreat.
Amelia closed the door quietly behind her, her lips pursed like a child trying not to cry.
It was a crushing defeat, too embarrassing to even be tallied.
Throughout the conversation, Amelia failed to beat Sharon even once.
Resentment and sadness spread through her heart.
She’d probably burst into tears if she let her guard down even a little, as it took her all to bite her lips and hold back her tears.
After all, she couldn’t afford to cry like some brat, it’d only make her feel even more pitiful.
If there was one good thing from this, it was that even though she hadn’t achieved victory, she had shown her guts to Sharon Evergreen, one of Siwoo’s lovers.
Though the other woman appeared nonchalant, she probably felt the same way about her as Amelia was towards her at first.
Also, she patted herself in the back that she hadn’t run away immediately even in the face of such a powerful opponent. Instead, she stood her ground and fought head-on.
Amelia clenched her fists tightly.
“Still, that was a great fight....”
She decided to turn today’s defeat into fuel, so that she could unleash a stronger comeback next time.
After resolving herself as such, she went to find the next person she wanted to meet.
Meanwhile, Sharon peeked out from the classroom and saw that Amelia had already gone.
She actually planned to apologize or offer her some comfort, but...
“Ah... Did I go too far?”
Before she could even savor the small victory from their skirmish...
Sharon realized she might have overdid a little.
She had used her fierce fights with the rambunctious twins as a standard, so she expected Amelia—with her years of experience and elegance—would’ve done the same.
Amelia’s first impression on her had been so overwhelming that she thought of her as an adversary at the same level as a dragon, so she had gone all-out from the start.
She had expected Amelia to hurl sharp insults and icy disdain while she’d be barely holding her grounds, but...
“She’s weaker than I thought...”
Amelia reacted to even the smallest comments, and above all, it was clear that she struggled to express herself.
It was as if she didn’t even know how to poke at someone’s weak spots.
Now that the battle was over, all Sharon could remember was her own wicked self gleefully kicking Amelia, whose combat power was around that of a rabbit.
Have all my squabbles with the twins turned me into a bully?!
Honestly, she couldn’t deny that at one point, she started to enjoy the thrill of dominating Amelia in that way.
“I should apologize later.”
Holding on to her bittersweet victory, she let out a sigh.
2.
“What in the world is going on...?”
Meanwhile, Siwoo was left alone, Amelia left him, telling him that she had something to do.
Just a moment ago, he saw Amelia off and wandered around the mansion, thinking if he should meet up with the twins, but then Deneb came to him.
After greeting him, she suddenly kicked him in the shin and walked out.
With Siwoo’s trained spirit body, such a blow didn’t hurt him much, but...
It still didn’t help with the confusion he felt.
“...Is this about what happened back then?”
While he was trying to guess what was going on, he could see Amelia—who he had just parted with—in the distance.
“Ms. Amelia.”
“Siwoo...!”
With her nose red and eyes on the verge of tears, Amelia ran toward Siwoo the moment she saw him.
She looked just like a kid who had been bullied and had just found her dad in the alley.
Surprised, Siwoo grabbed her shoulders and asked.
“Did something happen?”
Amelia shook her head, but then she hugged him tightly.
We weren’t even apart for that long. Did she miss me already?
Siwoo stroked her hair in that happy misunderstanding.
At that moment, Amelia suddenly asked.
“Siwoo, this might sound sudden, but... Can I ask you something?”
“Sure, what is it?”
“Siwoo, do you...like breasts...?”
“Huh?”
Like she said, that question came out of nowhere.
He dismissed it as her having a sudden interest in such things though, as they had just sex this morning.
Feeling a bit awkward, Siwoo gave a straightforward answer.
“I do.”
Hearing that, Amelia looked shocked.
Though her expression didn’t change much, Siwoo could sense her shift in emotions.
Is it really that surprising?
“H-How much?”
“As much as a normal guy does. I mean, there’s no guy who doesn’t like them.”
To Siwoo, he was just answering a simple question.
But to Amelia, who had just been talking to Sharon and was conscious of her breasts, this was like a thunderbolt out of the blue.
It meant that a significant part of what Siwoo liked was something she was largely lacking.
“S-Siwoo... T-Then, can I ask you just one more thing...?”
“Sure, but why all these sudden questions?”
“Do you...like doing naughty things outside...?”
“Huh...?”
Who put these ideas into her head?
Was it Sophia again?
As he tried to figure out what was going on, Amelia clenched her jaw, as if she had resolved herself.
“Please give me a moment.”
Then, ignoring his state—he was standing there with his mouth agape, unable to say anything—she grabbed his wrist and headed to a corner of the hallway.
