Ella’s soaked pussy tightens around my cock, and I can’t hold back the groan.

“Oh God, baby… you keep doing that and I won’t last much longer.”

This is the first time I’ve seen her since I made her late for work yesterday, and I’ve been loving her for the last hour in my bed.

Touching. Stroking. Driving in slow and deep.

It’s my new favorite way to spend my morning.

I grip the bed sheet, barely holding on.

Being inside my girl makes me lose my mind. She feels so perfect. So soft. So fucking tight .

If we didn’t have to work, I’d never let us leave this room.

I’d make it my life’s work to keep her in a state of perpetual bliss.

Because fucking Ella once is never enough. No sooner has she left my bed, and I want her back in it. Naked, wet, and writhing beneath me.

“Lars…” she whimpers, her breath ragged, her body giving me those telltale signs that she’s about to come. Her increased breathing. Her hips driving up to meet each stroke. Her fingernails biting into my skin. Those whimpers that drive me wild.

I press my mouth to her ear. “That’s it, baby, come all over my cock.”

Her fingers tighten against my shoulders, and she cries out, her pussy gripping me tight as she falls into her orgasm.

God, it never gets old.

Hearing her whimper. Hearing her fall.

Christ, I’m addicted.

I can’t hold back any longer and a roar rips out of me like a violent storm, pleasure erupting inside me as I release deep into her wet pussy.

Trying to catch my breath, I pull her into my arms and secure her against my chest.

This is a moment I like to savor.

When we’re both waiting for our heartbeats to even out in the peacefulness that follows .

Which is new for me.

Before Ella, I didn’t know this moment even existed.

Full transparency, I usually like it when they leave. I’m not about cuddling and small talk after sex, and I never let them think for one second that I am.

But I’ve found something new with Ella, and it makes me want to protect it.

Makes me want more of it.

Because I want to come home to find her waiting in my bed.

I want to fall asleep with her beside me and wake up knowing she’ll be there in the morning.

But she’s putting on the brakes. I can feel it. She doesn’t want to rush things. Wants to take things slow.

When all I want is to break all my own rules and go fast.

“I had better get dressed,” she says, sitting up. “I don’t want to push my luck with Mrs. V. She’s only just started to like me. You know, she smiled at me yesterday.”

“That’s huge strides.” I grab her and pull her back down to me. Skin to skin, I can feel my cock appreciating the contact. “But then again, you’re easy to like.”

“Is that you saying you like me?”

My growing cock flinches between us.

“I take that as a yes,” she says, chuckling. “But as much as I’d like to stick around and show you both how much I like you too, I’d better get downstairs. ”

“What is the time?”

She reaches for my phone on the nightstand. “Nine o’clock.”

Fuck. Time goes fast when I’m with her.

It only feels like half an hour ago that she knocked on my door.

I press my palms into my eyes. “I’m late for church.”

I’ve never been late for church in my life.

Reluctantly, I climb out of bed and quickly dress.

Hating that I have to leave, I lean down and kiss her quickly on the nose. “I’ll see you later?”

She gives me a mischievous grin. “Maybe.”

I can’t help myself. I pin her to the bed with my body. “Don’t tease me.”

“Or what?”

I press my hips into hers. “Or I’ll make you pay.”

Big blue eyes gleam up at me. “You’ve got my attention.”

I bend my head to kiss her. But it’s not a goodbye kiss. It’s a very reluctant I have to get my ass to church kiss.

I break away with a growl.

Beast is going to be pissed.

But it doesn’t stop me from pausing at the door. “I really like this,” I say, looking across the room at her lying naked and soft among my sheets .

She smiles softly. “Yeah, me too.”

I leave the bedroom with a strange sensation blooming in my chest, and it’s still there when I head into the chapel.

Church is underway when I walk in, and I feel all sets of eyes on me as I take a seat.

“Look who finally decided to join us,” Beast says, giving me a disapproving look from the head of the table.

I’ve walked in mid-conversation, but it only takes me seconds to catch up.

“Who were the men?” Stone asks.

Beast sits back in his chair. “Low-rent muscle. No information.”

“No brains left in their heads either,” Axe says, giving me a look. “Thanks to our enforcer.”

I show him my middle finger.

Beast ignores us. “Doesn’t matter. They were hired thugs. There to transport only.”

“Are we sure it’s the Olicheckoff Bratva behind it?” Viking asks.

“The women never saw him. But they heard his name mentioned enough for it to terrify them,” Beast explains. “There are some middlemen in between him and us.”

“Do we even have a location on Viktor Olicheckoff?” Viking asks .

“He’s as slimy as an eel in a bucket of oil,” Gambit replies. “You’d have better luck catching a bullet mid-air.”

“He’s spent his life making detection difficult,” Beast adds. “But Bram was able to locate a possible location.”

“So when do we pay the asshole a visit?” Axe asks.

“We wait for the heat to blow off this. Let the feds do their thing. Help the girls. A couple of days. I don’t want to pull the trigger until we’ve lined up the shot.” He looks at the men around the table. “Today we celebrate.”

The mood in the room instantly changes.

Palms bang on the table and wolf whistles ring around the room.

It takes me a second to realize what he’s talking about.

Sticky and Dani are getting married.

“Now let’s get these two married.” Beast brings down the gavel to signify the end of church.

The chapel empties quickly because my club brothers are ready to put this Bratva business on the burner so they can celebrate. And if there’s one thing we know how to do well, it’s celebrate.

But before I can leave, Beast stops me. “Hang back a moment.”

I know the tone. For me, celebrating is going to have to wait.

“I know what you’re going to say, and I know, being late for church is a cardinal sin but?— ”

“You’re getting pussy. I get it. And I’ll give you this one pass. But we’ve got shit going down and I need you to be more present.” He smiles. A rarity. And I know I’m forgiven. “It’s good to see.”

“It’s not what you think.”

I don’t know why I’m downplaying it to my best friend.

Maybe it’s because what is happening between me and Ella is something special. Something to protect. Something I want to keep all to ourselves because it is so precious.

“I need you to run an errand before wedding celebrations kick off,” Beast says.

“What do you need?”

“I want you and Bear to take the truck and drive out to the address Bram found for Viktor Olicheckoff. See if you can see anything. But this is on the quiet. Recon only. Then get your asses back here in time for the wedding.”

“On it,” I say, reaching for my sunglasses in my cut pocket.

“I’d do it myself, but you know Belle will kill me if I’m not back in time to fuss at me about wearing a damn suit.”

“You’re wearing a suit?”

“Suit pants, just to keep my wife happy. But no jacket. And no fucking tie.”

I chuckle. Beast certainly met his match in Belle. He’s so crazy in love with her. And if there is one person in this world who could make him dress up for an occasion, it’s her.

I think about Ella and my stomach tightens .

Think about me leaving her naked in my bed less than an hour ago.

Think how I’m counting the minutes until I touch her again.

“Don’t worry, I’ve got this,” I reassure him. “But do me a favor?”

“What?”

“Check in on Ella for me. Ask her if she’ll stick around for the wedding.”

“You haven’t asked her already?”

I’ve been so preoccupied by being with her I completely forgot to ask.

Didn’t even remember today was Sticky and Dani’s wedding.

Because I’m getting lost in her.

“With the Bratva hanging around, I wasn’t even sure if there would be a wedding.”

“You know I always organize extra security. There’s no reason for it not to go ahead.”

“Still—”

“Still…you’re an idiot. You like this chick, and it’s got you rattled.” His expression evens out. “Time to let go of the past, don’t you think?”

Easier said than done.

Instead of addressing the comment, I ignore it. Like it isn’t even a thing. “I thought I’d have enough time to sort it out today. ”

Beast looks at me like I’m a fool who has no idea when it comes to women. “She’s going to love me asking her if she’ll stick around to go on a date with you. Should I pass her a note asking if she likes you, too?”

I give him a good look at my middle finger.

“You’re an asshole.”

He shakes his head. “Fine, I’ll tell her she’s coming to a wedding she should already be coming to.”

We both walk outside. Beast continues in the direction of the clubhouse while I head toward the driveway and climb into the truck beside Bear.
