Her expression shifts in an instant, and she exhales slowly, eyes dropping back to the ground. “I haven’t thought of dancing in a long time. Of course, I never had real lessons, but I always tried to sneak some glances on TV or videos of how they do it.” She paces slowlyand sits next to me. “And to be honest, I think I’m good at it.”

Such a fearless girl.

I look at her. “But don’t you miss it?”

“No. Not anymore.” She shakes her head. “My life is completely different now.”

She says the words, but I don’t see anything negative in her eyes. I don’t see fear, stress, or resistance. I dare say I see acceptance and a bit of joy.

That’s why I’m here, little rose. I want to decay your mind until my madness feels like sanity.

“I was always curious, ružicko.” I cross my arms and tilt my head. “Will you teach me?”

“Teach you what?”

“How to dance.”

“What? No!”

There’s a faint smile on her full, juicy lips. Of course she wants to do it. She’s flattered by my request. Little does she know that I meant it. Sort of. I want to dance with her; I want to touch her and pretend it’s innocent to see what and how she really needs me.

“Come on,” I insist, taking out my phone and searching for a song.

“No!”

“Yes. I found it,” I say proudly.

The song plays on my phone, and she pauses, trying to work out which one it is.

“Oh, that song,” she says, her cheeks blushing.

“Elvis always knew how to do it,” I say, standing up and straightening my white cotton shirt. “Would yougive me the honor of this dance, little rose?” I extend my hand.

She smiles involuntarily, her pale blue eyes squinting with joy. “Yes.”

Her delicate hand rests in my palm for a few seconds as my eyes scan her sexy face.

I pull her closer until her body collides with mine. My hand slides to the small of her back while she holds my shoulder softly, as if she’s scared to touch me more.

I lead the dance, slow and steady, following the rhythm.

“I’m impressed, Mr. Manson.”

“How so?”

“You dance, you speak Czech. It’s not a very common language to learn.”

“I have many hidden talents,” I say, pulling her closer and eliciting a soft gasp of surprise from her.

Fuck, she’s so damn hot.

“No, seriously. Why Czech?”

I lean in closer, my lips brushing against the shell of her ear. “I wanted to impress you, so I learned fast.”

“Yeah?”

“Yeah. Well, that … and so you wouldn’t be able to hide anything from me in your native language.”
