Page 18 of Breeze and Melodie
We were escorted to the back corner of the restaurant, and I sat next to her in the booth. As soon as the hostess walked away, I pressed the button on the remote and had Melodie squirming. She attempted to stifle her moans but failed miserably.
“Does it feel good, baby?” I taunted.
“Breeze, please.”
“Please, what? You don’t like it?”
“Mmm, shit.”
“You gon’ cum?”
Her eyes rolled back as she crossed her legs and gripped my arm.
“Baby!”
I turned the vibrator off just when I thought she was on the verge of climaxing. Her tense body immediately relaxed, and her grip on my arm loosened.
“You good?” I asked.
“I can’t believe you got me out in public acting like this. It took everything in me not to scream.”
“You didn’t like it.”
“That’s not what I said. My panties are soaked.”
“Word? Let me feel.”
As she was about to respond, our server arrived with two glasses of water and was ready to take our order. Melodie was still out of sorts, and it took her a moment to gather herself before she could place her order. When the server walked away, Melodie playfully punched me in my arm.
“You’re evil.”
“I would say I’m the exact opposite, but if you want me to stop, I will.”
“Thank you. I’d prefer not to have people think I’m having a sei—oh shit!”
Her hands slammed down on the table, and her eyes widened.
“Shut that shit up.”
“Oh my God!” Her voice carried several feet away, and a few people looked in our direction.
“You’re putting on a show, baby. You want them to watch you cum?”
“I swear to—Oh fuck!”
Watching her squirm had my dick hard as hell. Although she did her best not to succumb to the vibrations between her thighs, I knew exactly what to do to send her reeling into her climax.
I grabbed her by the front of her neck and pulled her tense body toward me. As soon as my mouth connected with hers, she relaxed under my grip and gave me her tongue. I slipped my other hand under her shirt and bra, flicking her nipple.
When she moaned into my mouth and grabbed my shirt, I knew she was about to soak her panties. I pulled my mouth away from hers but kept my lips close and looked into her eyes.
“Let that shit go. I want you sitting in a puddle of your juices.”
“Baby,” she whined.
“Cum now, Mel. Wet those panties up.”
Her grip on my shirt tightened as her body stiffened momentarily before going limp against my body. I turned the vibrator off, and she released a deep sigh.
“Don’t buy any more toys from Flikstagram ads. Let me out so I can clean myself up.”
I laughed as I slid out of the booth, then helped her to her feet. Before she could walk away, I held onto her waist.
“It looks like this toy worked just fine.” I pecked her lips and released her, slapping her ass before she got too far away. Since the show was over, I sat on the other side of the booth to give us more space while we ate.
“Fancy seeing you here.”
I looked up and saw Tia standing there, her arms folded across her chest, and all her weight on one hip.
“Hey. How you been?”
She smacked her lips and shifted her weight to her other hip. “Honestly, I’ve been fucked up since we broke up. I feel like?—”
“Tia, I didn’t mean for things to go down the way they did, but it was only a matter of time. I’ve been in love with Melodie for a while, and we would’ve ended up together eventually.”
She shook her head in dismay. “You really are the asshole my friends said you were. The least you can do is give me a proper apology for stringing me along and wasting six months of my life. Instead, you keep turning the fucking knife.”
“I treated you with respect, so I don’t care what your trifling ass friends said about me. Kellie and Trenisha just mad I turned their asses down when they tried to get me to fuck.”
“Tuh! Now you’re lying on my friends to avoid apologizing? Just pathetic!”
“I ain’t got no reason to lie. The fuck you want me to say?” I questioned, trying not to raise my voice. “I thought I apologized to you, but if I didn’t, I’m sorry. I ain’t mean to hurt you, but?—”
“What’s going on here?”
I was hoping this conversation would be over before Melodie returned from the bathroom, but no such luck. I stood and stepped between them just in case one of them decided to swing.
“Ugh. I should’ve known you were here with her,” Tia mumbled but loud enough for Melodie to hear her.
“Shouldn’t you be at work some damn where? You damn right he’s here with me. Is there a problem?”
Melodie attempted to step around me, but I stopped her. “Baby, chill.”
“Yeah, chill. No need to act ratchet and ghetto in this nice restaurant.”
“Ratchet and ghetto? Oh, I got your?—”
“My seeds, Mel.”
I realized it hadn’t been long since we found out she was pregnant, but I’d had to remind her twice today that she was carrying my seeds, and it was starting to piss me off.
“If I wasn’t pregnant, I’d show you ratchet and ghetto and drag your ass through this nice restaurant.”
“Is everything okay over here?” our server asked, looking a little nervous.
“You’re pregnant?” Tia questioned.
Ignoring Tia’s quest for confirmation, I said, “Everything is fine. She was just leaving.” I nodded toward Tia, and she turned and walked away in a huff.
This time, Melodie and I sat on opposite sides of the booth, and the server placed our food in front of us. After asking if we needed anything else, she disappeared. I looked up at Melodie, and her glare caused me to smirk.
“Nothing is funny, Breeze. What the hell was that about?”
“Baby, I was sitting here, minding my business, waiting for you to come back from the bathroom, and she appeared out of nowhere.”
“What did she say?”
“Nothing really.”
“We’re lying to each other now?”
“I’m not lying. She didn’t say anything different than what she said before. She’s gone now, so let’s enjoy our food. These pancakes are calling my name.”
I gave my attention to the food in front of me, and I could feel Melodie’s eyes still on me for the first few bites.
“She’s lucky I’m pregnant.”
“Nah. She’s lucky I’m not gon’ have my woman out here fighting, pregnant or not. Feed my kids and don’t let me have to remind you again about my seeds.”
“I want the second house,” Melodie announced.
After having brunch, we came home and made slow, passionate love before falling asleep wrapped in each other’s arms. When we woke up, we went another round in the shower and ordered dinner from OC Grill. We were enjoying our food in the living room, where Melodie had set up an indoor picnic.
“Interesting.”
“Why is it interesting?”
“Because we’re on the same page. You won’t find many patios and decks like that one, and there’s still plenty of space in the backyard.”
“I like that there are two primary bedrooms. We can use the one downstairs as an office.”
“What about the closet?”
“It’s a nice-sized closet, just not as big as the one in the third house. You can use the closet in one of the other bedrooms, and?—”
“Hold up. I gotta put my clothes in a whole different room?”
“I mean, you don’t have to, but it would be a nice gesture.”
“Whatever you want, baby, even if it means all of my shit has to be in the garage.”
“Don’t exaggerate. I wouldn’t do you like that.”
“I’m not so sure. What about a room for the babies?”
“Oh my God. I forgot we’re having two. The room next to the upstairs primary might be too small.”
“The babies will be small. They don’t need that much room.”
“But there’ll be two, so we’ll have double the stuff.”
“True . . . Damn, I can’t believe we’re having twins.”
“Me either. How will I manage?”
I frowned. “Do you mean, how will we manage? You’re not doing this alone, baby.”
“I know, but?—”
“But nothing. We’re in this together. If I didn’t learn shit else from my father, I learned how not to parent. You will never have to worry about doing this alone, baby.”
“I’m so blessed to have a man like you as my future husband and father of these two babies growing inside me. I’ve always known you were the perfect man for me, and I’m grateful our feelings for each other never wavered.”
“You’re stuck with me forever now, baby.”
“That’s all I’ve ever wanted.”
