A urora
Upon my return to the base, I’m not housed in the barracks. Instead, my worldly possessions and I are taken to a well-appointed suite. It’s apparently the one we will all share when my second master, Knox, returns home from his mission abroad.
Feeling out of place, and unsure of myself, I begin to unpack. I don’t have much. Just a tattered duffel bag of odds and ends from my old life. Things I couldn’t bear to leave behind. They comfort me as I move around the room, dispersing these precious reminders of my past within reach.
Oren told me I’ll be sleeping in his bed tonight, and I shiver as I look at the gigantic bed in the dead center of the room. It’s a metaphor for the man himself. Large. Imposing. Domineering. And impossible to ignore.
I wonder how Cadence is doing. We’d been separated at the accident site, and I have no way to get ahold of her.
As soon as I have the opportunity, I’m going to ask Oren if we can have some means of communication.
I don’t have many friends, and Cadence and I instantly bonded the day we met.
I hate losing that connection when I have so few in the world at present.
After the doctor had tended my wound when we’d returned to base, Oren left for an emergency meeting. I’m not sure how long he’ll be gone and I’m starving because I haven’t eaten much since breakfast.
Since I’m too nervous to use the comm link to ask someone for food, I take a shower, get into a clean dress hanging in the closet, and crawl under the covers to wait for Oren to return.
I’m not sure how much time passes, but the lights are off when I awake. A warm body slips in beside mine, and, still drugged with sleep, I cuddle against it.
A heavy arm drapes around my center and pulls me impossibly close. The determined bulge of my master’s manhood presses against my backside, and I realize he’s naked.
Too tired to perseverate on that fact, I accept it and relax. As I tumble back into the dark void, I feel Oren’s reassuring kiss placed gently on the top of my head.
“Sleep well, Kitten.”
When I awaken the next morning, Oren is getting dressed. Propping myself up on my elbows, I squint against the light as I watch him put the finishing touches on his uniform.
There’s no arguing how good he looks in the form-fitting gear.
My heart races and my belly gives a slow dip as he cinches his belt in place, accentuating his narrow waist and the breadth of his impressive chest. He looks like a movie star.
Too handsome for his own good. Even though I would never have chosen this path in life for myself, I realize it has nothing to do with the man before me.
He’s perfect by every metric. Except when he spanks me. That I could do without.
Was that the truth though? A part of me, no matter how small, likes his stern hands on my bottom. The way he orders me about. The way he makes me break apart. He does something to my body that I can’t explain, but I can’t deny how much I like it.
“If you keep looking at me like that, Kitten, you’re going to be on all fours, sucking my cock until it stops being so hard. Based on how horny you make me, that might take several hours to accomplish.”
Startled out of my naughty thoughts, I blush and pull the covers to my chin. “I’ll be good.”
Oren’s beautiful blue eyes meet mine. “What if I like it better when you’re bad?”
Blushing scarlet now, I nestle deeper into the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept in.
“What should I do while you’re working today?” I ask, needing to change the subject before Oren makes good on his threat.
My stomach rumbles then, and I realize it’s been nearly twenty-four hours since I last ate.
“For starters, you’re to have a nourishing breakfast. I should have woken you last night to eat, but you looked far too peaceful to disturb.”
I appreciate his thoughtfulness, but I do need to eat. Pronto. “Should I get dressed and head down to the cafeteria then?”
Oren shakes his head. “Use the comm device on the wall to call for service of any kind. My secretary, Bryan, will see to all of your needs.”
Building up my courage, I smile. “Can my friend Cadence join me for breakfast?”
Oren thinks that over. “I’m not sure who she is or if she’s even on base.”
I explain who Cadence is and how close we’ve gotten since our chance meeting. “I’d like to stay in contact with her if I can. She’s been so kind to me and I have so few friends.”
Oren sits on the edge of the bed and tucks an unruly curl behind my ear. “I’ll look into who her masters are and see what can be arranged. Until then, eat breakfast in this chamber. I don’t want you roaming the base without me.”
Irritated that I should be a virtual prisoner while at Fort Kent, I sigh a bit dramatically. Something Oren doesn’t miss.
“Are you expressing displeasure with me, Kitten?” He asks, his full lips spreading in a knowing smirk.
“It’s just,” I think of how best to phrase it without getting myself into trouble, “I have nothing to do all day. I’m used to being very busy with chores and daily mass back home.”
It was true. Downtime was a luxury I rarely received when I lived with my parents. Now it seemed like I might end up drowning in it.
“After breakfast, I’ve arranged for you to meet with your tutor,” Oren explains. “You will begin your training in Voltanese today.”
My face brightens. “Really?”
He bobs his head. “You will quickly learn that I’m a man of my word, Aurora. I hope you trust me on that.”
As solemn as his expression is, I believe him. “I trust you, Or-, I mean, Master,” I quickly correct myself.
“Good. Because trust is key in a mate,” he explains matter-of-factly.
I tilt my head with confusion. “Mate?”
“We’ll talk more about that later tonight,” he tells me, bestowing a final kiss on my lips.
I didn’t want to talk tonight. I wanted to talk right now. What was this “mate” business about, and why couldn’t he explain himself before he left for work?
“Can’t we talk now?” I press, even though I know I shouldn’t.
“I’m already running late,” Oren tells me as he stands to his full, towering height of six and a half feet. “I laid about in bed for far too long this morning, but I couldn’t help myself. You look so cute when you sleep”
I’m miffed, but I can’t exactly strong-arm the man into compliance. “Alright,” I grudgingly concede.
“Besides, I’d rather Knox be present when we talk about such things. This is a conversation for the three of us to have together.”
I blanch, a mask of shock settling over my pale features. “He’s coming home tonight?”
I feel so ill-prepared for this. If my second master returns, there’s nothing standing between me and two men taking my virginity.
Though I know this is my fate, it’s crept up on me faster than I thought.
It’s all too much to deal with in so short a time.
I need a moment to process, absorb what’s happening.
“Yes, Kitten. And when he does,” he tells me, heading for the door, “he’s going to expect you to lose the gown when you sleep. We both prefer our women naked in bed.”
When the door clicks shut behind him, I grow hot and dizzy. The walls of my new world are closing in around me, and I have no idea how I’m going to react once I’m utterly trapped.
“You have to use your tongue. It’s no good without it.”
I was trying, but the man was damn hard to please. “Like this?” I visually demonstrate.
“More pressure,” he complains with a sigh. “I should be able to feel each stroke.”
“But it’s so hard!” I choke out in frustration. “There are so many sounds in Voltanese that aren’t in English. How will I learn them all?”
Colton, my tutor, smiles with clear understanding. “Patience, Aurora. You’re doing fine. Within six months, you should be able to hold entire conversations with your Voltan masters. Won’t that be fun?”
Six months! Oren said he’d learned English in almost the same number of days. “Is there any way to speed up the process?”
I’m not ashamed to admit I’m looking for a shortcut to help me with this new project of mine. Language acquisition is no easy feat. The more tools in my toolbox, the better.
“I’m afraid not,” Colton answers. “However, it is very admirable you wish to learn our beautiful mother tongue. Your masters will be so proud of you for taking the initiative.”
I like the sound of that, though I won’t openly admit it. “Colton,” I begin, wondering what the man would be willing to share with me about my masters. Especially Knox, who was a complete mystery to me at this point, “May I ask you a question?”
“Of course,” the agreeable man replies.
“I haven’t met my second master yet. Do you know him? His name is Knox.”
I shouldn’t involve the man in my troubles, but he’s so kind that I thought he actually might help alleviate some of the anxiety I’m experiencing.
Colton chews over my question for longer than I would like. “Yes, Aurora. I know him.”
That wasn’t exactly a glowing review. “Are you two friends?” I push, needing more info before the male returns tonight and expects me to immediately become intimate with him.
“No, I wouldn’t say that,” Colton continues in the same vague manner as before.
My face must have portrayed how terrified I was, because he quickly adds, “Captain Knox is renowned for being an exceptional Voltan warrior, Aurora. He was a part of the elite unit known as the Drattma back on Voltan. He’s a greatly respected member of Fort Kent, and much admired for his skill both on and off the battlefield. ”
His little speech doesn’t exactly ease my fears, either. “But is he,” I consider how best to phrase my question, “a gentleman to the women he dates? Kind and patient?”
It looks like Colton could swallow his tongue, he’s biting it so hard. “As I told you, we aren’t friends, Aurora. I’d be lying if I said I knew the man on such a personal level.”
