The look on April’s face makes it clear it’s the last thing she wants, but then Adam says, “Don’t tell me you’re going to be a prude about this. It’s not a big deal, so don’t make it into one.”

“I’m not a prude.” April puts her shirt on and squares her shoulders, determined to play the part. “We can ask Sara.”

Adam shakes his head. “Ask Hailey.”
