The fae:

High fae – Species with ability to use glamor, persuasion/compulsion. Inability to lie, but they are excellent at deceiving with false truths. Tall and lean, larger than humans. Most are aligned with one element: water, fire, earth, air, or spirit. Spirit elements will always have an animal familiar. An animal familiar can present to a high fae with water, fire, earth, or air if their power is strong enough and would align with their element.

Dark fae – inclination toward pain and destruction, but not confined to it.

Light fae – inclination toward gentle, goodness, and helping, but not confined to it.

Small fae – All other species, including brownies, nymphs, redcaps, kelpies, leprechauns, goblins, bauchan. These species are similar in size to humans but are smaller compared to high fae. They have overall lesser magical abilities.

Redcap – Always dark red hair. Must coat their hair in blood for sustenance to feed power. Make good warriors. Faster healing and quick reflexes. Some redcaps have foresight to see a few seconds into the future.

Leprechaun – Exceptionally lucky. Driven by money. Some can determine if items of value are real by scenting it. Sixth sense for negotiation. Clan medallion distinguishes them as specifically leprechaun.

Other:

Furies – species of demon, creatures with immense power that cling to wrath. Have black wings and claws. Excellent fighters. They don’t possess the gifts of the fae, or the drawbacks, faster and stronger than any other race.

Demons/Gods – used interchangeably. Their replacement would be a direct descendent.

Witches – descended from demons, marked with a brand specific to the demon they descend from. Only species that can create portals.

**Mixed species will inherit mixed qualities from each side.
