I immediately did as I was told. At the sight of me, long, drawn-out curses rolled off Liam’s tongue. The kind that made a woman feel bold and sexy…and cherished.
“Do you have any idea how fucking delectable you look spread out and on display like this?”
His hand went to his erection, and I immediately pushed up onto my elbows. My gaze zeroed in on his long fingers steadily sliding up and down his length. It was so incredibly hot.
Still pumping into his hand, he stepped forward and bent over me. His lips brushed mine, once, twice.
“You’ve got me so wired; I won’t last long.”
Then he was gone. Dipping his head between my legs, he devoured me in the same ruthless way he’d kissed my mouth earlier. He nipped and sucked and flicked his tongue until my hips bucked wildly and breaths came in short little bursts.
I wound my fingers through his hair while slipping my other hand under my shirt to play with my breast. Cursing against my skin, Liam doubled his efforts. And when his fingers joined the party, I wholeheartedly believed I was wrong about being a one-orgasm girl.
My belly tugged and flipped, and a very familiar fluttering skittered through my veins.
“Oh gosh, I’m going to—”
“Come.”
He flicked his tongue, then closed his mouth around me and grazed his teeth over my skin. The dam broke. My back arched off the desk, and I rattled off a string of incoherent words.
Tremors racked my body, and I cried out in pleasure as another fierce orgasm slammed into me. This one was way more intense than the previous one. I didn’t even know how it was possible.
“So bloody gorgeous,” Liam murmured.
Somewhere in the middle of all that ecstasy, I’d squeezed my eyes shut. Slowly peeling them open, I wasn’t too surprised to find his stare already on me.
“I’m so fucking close.”
My gaze darted to his working hand. His movements were fast and choppy. This was precisely what I’d envisioned earlier. His mouth between my legs while he worked himself into a frenzy.
“Finish on me.” Lifting my shirt, I revealed a sliver of skin between my waistband and belly button. “Right here.”
Liam didn’t hesitate, he stepped closer. Close enough for me to wrap my hand around his. Together, we pumped to a crazy rhythm until he finally fell over the edge with his mouth crashing to mine.
We stayed like that for a long, long while before he pulled back and pressed his forehead against mine. His gaze was soft and tender, his smile slow and lazy.
“Call me crazy,” he said. “But I just might be addicted to you.”
And I might just be in love with you.
Chapter thirty-three
Liam
“Shaneisafuckingbastard.” Tristan pushed his empty plate away and leaned back in his seat. “I can’t believe he didn’t even spend one night behind bars.”
As much as I wanted to share my friend’s disbelief, I wasn’t surprised. My grandfather had a lot of people in his pocket, and I knew from personal experience that half of the damn police force jumped whenever he snapped his fingers.
But if he thought this was the end of it, he was sorely mistaken. I wasn’t about to let go of this one indiscretion.
“How’s Evie holding up?” Rafe asked before he took a long, slow sip of his espresso.
There were a lot of words that sprang to mind when I thought about Snow. Stunning. Kind. Smart. Fucking sexy. And now I could add resilient to the list. She’d been shaken up for a few days after the attack, but it didn’t stop her from going to the office with me to work on the year-end function.
Even when I’d insisted she take the files home and work from there, she’d refused.
“I can’t allow my fears to keep controlling me,” she’d said on the third morning. “So even though I’m terrified to run into him, I refuse to stay here and hide. I don’t want to be a coward, Liam.”
