Since I was released from prison, I’ve been creating a life she’d be happy

and safe in. I just have to convince her that it’s me she really needs, even if

she feels like I abandoned her all those years ago.

I have some loose strings to tie up, though. Then, and only then, can I reveal

my identity and my plan for our future. I just hope she chooses it willingly

and I don’t have to drag her kicking and screaming.
