“Let me start the game,” Callum said.
“If you attempt to ask any improper questions, I will leave,” Louise said.
Callum smirked. “I know you will not leave.” Louise shook her head at his confidence especially as she knew that he was right. “I have never sneaked out of the house,” Callum said.
Louise smiled as she took the drink.
“I cannot believe that you used to sneak out of the house,” Callum said, “you really are not as innocent as you seem.”
“It is not what you think,” Louise replied, “I used to sneak out of the house to feed my rabbits.”
“Rabbits?” Callum asked, “That is definitely not what I imagined.”
“When I was younger, I began to keep a pet rabbit in the garden. Of course, Mama and Papa could not know about it so I would sneak out to feed the rabbit. Then, one day, I saw that the rabbit had invited a friend,” she said.
“Did you give your rabbits a name?” Callum asked.
“You have to promise me that you would not laugh if I told you,” Louise said.
“I promise,” Callum said, “now tell me.”
“I named the rabbits Mr. and Mrs. Rabbit,” Louise said, before covering her face with her palms.
“Mr. and Mrs. Rabbit?” Callum repeated before he burst into laughter.
“You promised not to laugh,” Louise said, smiling.
“I apologize, Lady Louise. I just could not hold it in,” he replied, “if it makes you feel better, as a child, I used to keep some frogs as pets. Of course, they escaped and I cried for days.”
“Thank you for being so honest,” Louise replied.
“Anyway, what happened to your pet rabbits?” Callum asked.
Louise sighed in an exaggerated manner. “Our gardener found the rabbits and threw them out. I never saw Mr. And Mrs. Rabbit again. It has been over ten years and I still think about them from time to time.”
“It is your turn now,” Callum informed her.
“I have never covered up for a friend,” she said.
Callum took a drink. “Guilty!”
“Do you care to tell me about the time you covered for a friend?” Louise said.
“Time?” Callum asked, “You mean times. Ever since Felington and I have been young, I have always been the black sheep. So, whenever he did something terribly wrong, I would take responsibility for it.”
Louise was surprised. “That is quite admirable.”
Callum shrugged. “It is nothing. It is what friends are expected to do for each other.” Louise did not say anything further even though she did not quite agree with him. “He is the only true friend I ever had. Anyway, my turn. I have never kissed someone,” Callum said.
Louise's face reddened and she looked away from him.
“Well, are you going to take a drink?” Callum taunted.
Louise took the drink.
“Never have I ever defaced a property,” Louise said.
Callum groaned. “I have,” he said.
