Story: Wilde Love
It had become a game for Nick and Mason’s three cousins to get past Mason to kiss her like that. Not that Mason actually minded them showing her affection. Itwas just a way for all of them to show Mason he was back in the fold and a part of their fun and games.
Apparently the proposal was no surprise to her parents, who hugged her and Mason, all smiles and happy for one of their kids to be in love and starting a life with someone.
She stood with Mason on her right side, her parents on her left and smiled as her three siblings held up their drinks from across the room in a toast to her and Mason.
“Who do you think will be next?” she asked her parents.
“Aria, if Mason’s brother, Nick, has anything to say about it,” her dad grumbled, though without any real reservations behind it.
Mason squeezed her side. “They’re still circling each other. Maybe Melody. There’s a guy who comes in more and more. I think he’s got his eye on her.”
She bumped her shoulder to his. “Sounds like someone I know.”
“Angel, you had me so tied up in knots, it’s a wonder I could do anything but love you.”
Her mom sighed. “Mason, honey, I hope whoever Aria and Melody fall for is as good to them as you are to my little girl.”
Mason didn’t seem to know what to do with those words.
Her mom still stared at her kids. “I hope it will be Jax. He’s been keeping things casual far too long. But it will take a special kind of someone to steal and hold his heart.”
Mason glanced at her mom. “I hope whoever she is, she has a heart as beautiful as Lyric’s.”
Her mom’s soft gaze met theirs. “You two areperfect for each other. I hope you have a long and happy life together.”
Mason turned Lyric into his body and held her close, looking down into her eyes. “Forever won’t be long enough. But we will be happy.”
