Story: Sin City Lights
“You look sexy this way.”
His chuckle was warm and deep.“You and your fascination with my tie.”
She took the ends and gave a little tug.“Makes a great man handle.”
His mouth curved in bemusement.“So I’ve noticed.”
Eve continued to explore his body, his shoulders, his hard biceps, his powerful forearms. Taking one of his hands, she closed it into a fist and pressed it to her cheek, sliding her jaw along his knuckles.
“Eve…” His voice was tender.
She took hold of his wrist, undoing one silver cuff link, smiling when she realized it was an airplane. Slipping it out of the buttonhole, she gently caressed his pulse point with her thumbs. She felt his life force beating there and bent to open her mouth over it, circling hotly with her tongue.
Eve heard his harsh intake of air. She was nearly breathless now. She took his other hand and flipped open his second cuff link. Palming them both, she set them on the ottoman with a littleclink.
Turning back toward him, she reached for the top button of his shirt, but he stopped her.“Let me.”
Eyes never leaving hers, he slowly undid each pearled button, watching her face as the two sides finally parted, revealing a white cotton T-shirt that clung to every sculpted muscle.
She took him in, his undone tie, his open shirt, and the desire in his beautiful blue eyes. She drew a long, shuddering breath.
“Come here.” He took her in his arms again, his hands more urgent now, roaming down past her waist, one hand finding the keyhole opening at her lower back, his pinkie stroking the bared skin just above her tailbone.
The eroticism of this déjà vu had all her nerves firing full blast. She let her head fall back, and his mouth immediately found her throat, raining kisses down the column of her neck to her clavicle and back up again. Her fingers twisted in his undershirt, fisting fabric.
He kissed her again then, deeply, unhurriedly, as if he had all the time in the world to do just this.
“Turn around,” he finally said.
His low voice sent goose bumps up her arms. Slowly, she turned, offering her back to him, lifting her hair. His fingertips brushed her nape, then inched her zipper down, lower, lower, until it came to a stop. She didn’t turn to face him but took a step forward and rolled her hips once, sending the purple fabric to pool softly at her feet.
She waited for a beat, feeling his eyes on her, and she thought she heard a shuddering exhale.
“Eve,” she heard him say softly,“look at you.”
She smiled and let her hair fall back over her shoulders, then slowly pivoted to face him. The look on Adam’s face was worth the wait.
For a few seconds, he stood there, taking her in, brown hair to silver sandals.
He didn’t say another word but didn’t need to: his eyes told her everything she needed to know. She saw the instant he recognized the white lace lingerie set because his eyes smoldered even hotter, capturing hers. For a few seconds, there was only the sound of their breathing.
It was she who made the first move. Grabbing the ends of his loose tie, she backed to the side of the bed, falling backward, pulling him on top of her.
Fantasy, fulfilled.
Exhilarating.
It was as if a switch were flipped.
Spreading her knees, Eve cradled him between her thighs. He shifted, and she heard shoes hitting the carpet as he kicked them off. She felt him, hard against her, as he propped himself on his forearms, his scent and warmth and weight setting her aflame.
She arched into him, tearing at his shirt.“Take this off.”
He pushed to his knees and quickly discarded his shirt and tie.
His muscles flexed as he pulled his undershirt over his blond head and tossed it to the floor. He raked a hand through his bright hair.
God, but he was beautiful. Her eyes roamed over his face, his chest, his sculpted abs. Need raged within her, a tingling, dull, throbbing ache. She held out her arms.“Come back to me.”
