“So, what?” Lora asked again. “What do you wanna ask?”

“Um…” Chyanne forgot about Veronica and dropped her gaze. “Well…”

“C’mon!” Betsy urged, giggling like crazy.

Chyanne wasn’t sure if Betsy was urging her to go faster, or to ask her question, so she stopped and bounced the other woman, who whooped with amusement.

“You won’t get a better time than right now,” Ashley put in reasonably.

“Right.” She took a deep breath and began walking again, keeping her gaze straight ahead. “Uh… well…”

“Out with it!” Betsy urged, wrapping her arms around Chyanne’s neck and giving her an encouraging squeeze.

Strangely, it was exactly what she needed. She even dared a glance at Lora as she said, “So, everyone that comes here… everyone has a daddy?”

“Oh, that’s a good question.” Lora smiled warmly. “But no, not everyone here has a daddy. I mean, I do, and um… well, I think we all do, actually. But that doesn’t apply to everyone. And not all of us are Littles, exactly… you know, it’s kinda hard to explain.” The gorgeous blonde flipped her hair over her shoulder. “But everyone that comes to the ranch comes because they want a different dynamic.”

“Different how?” she pressed.

“Um, like some of us have daddies, and some don’t, but we all have a dynamic with a contract. We’re all submissives”—she waved her hand to include the group—“and even though I haven’t met any, I know there are other people who come here to be in charge. The ranch is kind of like a wish-granting factory.”

Veronica snorted at the same time that Ashley giggled.

“Well, I think it is,” Lora doubled down, shooting Veronica an annoyed look. “And you get what you ask for, even if you didn’t reallyknowwhat you were asking for when you did.”

They plodded on in silence for a bit while Chyanne digested this.

“I mean, things are probably a little different for you,” Betsy spoke up, breaking the silence. “Because, you know, you busted in here swinging paddles.”

Chyanne gasped and tilted her head back to look at the giggling girl. “Only because I thoughtyouwere in trouble!”

“I was,” she replied cheerily. “And thenyougot in trouble.”

She scowled at the giggling Little, but when Betsy only gave her a bold grin, Chyanne’s scowl deepened. “Okay, that’s it.”

In one quick motion she forced the other girl to dismount, then before she could process what was happening, she began to tickle her. Betsy screamed and howled with laughter.

Only when Betsy was red-faced and panting did Chyanne stop, tossing her a triumphant grin.

Betsy smiled weakly. “Sorry, but it’s kinda true.”

She shrugged and grinned back. “Yeah, it kinda is.”

“Are you two done now?” Veronica asked in frosty tones.

Chyanne’s anger prickled, but before she could answer, Lora whirled on the other woman.

“Hey, what’s your problem? Is Thomas not putting out, or something?”

Surprised by the comment from the normally tame girl, Chyanne watched as Veronica’s cheeks reddened.

“No, it’s not that, but you don’t think I have stuff going on?”

“Well, we all do,” Lora told her fiercely. “And we’re not being jerks about it.”

Veronica glowered at the other woman, but Lora planted her feet and put her hands on her hips, and eventually the ice queen thawed. “Fine. Sorry.”

Chyanne looked at Lora in amazement.What kind of magic does she possess? And where can I get me some of that?
