Story: Jezebel's Liberation
“She’s not a goddamn whore,” he snarls before spitting on him.
Jez’s fingers dig into my skin, and I hear a faint moan from behind me.
Fucking hell, our girl is turned on by Phantom’s outburst. Shit, so am I.
“Continue,” I demand, kicking Stewart in the ribs.
“As I was saying,” he begins. “I’d forgotten all about you untilshewent and started digging in places she didn’t belong. I was tipped off by Agent Betts, and then all I had to do was sit back and wait. I knew you wouldn’t be able to resist coming after me. Although, I was surprised it was her who showed up first.”
Jez’s hand slips, and I glance over my shoulder to see the horrified look on her face.
“I… I did this,” she says.
“No, baby, you didn’t.” I look at Phantom. “Strip him, and then come take care of her so I can finish this.”
Phantom rushes to relieve Stewart of his clothes, and I smirk at the forming bruise along his side. Once the man is naked, Phantom steps over him and past me to wrap Jez in his arms.
“What’re ya gonna do?” Stewart asks.
I tilt my head. “Wouldn’t you like to know?”
He tries to roll onto his back, but I brace my feet on either side of his hips and squat above him. Bile rises up the back of my throat at being so close, but I force it back down and focus.
“Any last words?” I ask as I shove the barrel of the gun between his ass cheeks.
Stewart shrieks when the cold metal pushes past his puckered hole. “Fuck you,” he grits out.
“No, Stewie,” I say, pushing the gun in as far as it’ll go. “Fuck. You.”
I squeeze the trigger over and over, emptying what’s left of the bullets into his ass, savoring the way I know they’re tearing through his body and shredding him.
With my tormentor dead, I straighten to my full height and square my shoulders.
“Go forth, sinner’s soul, from this world. May you suffer in darkness, may your home be in Hell, and may the Devil fuck you with his horns.”
The second the words are out of my mouth, the front entrance bursts open, and my Saints Purgatory brothers barrel inside, weapons drawn.
I smirk at Malice, who’s scanning the room for any sign of a threat. “You’re late.”
“Jez, are you guys okay?”
Standing in the corner where Phantom carried me after Demon demanded he ‘take care of’ me, Phantom tugs his shirt off and pulls it over my head to cover my nakedness. I know Demon was going to cover me earlier, but I’d been seeing red and didn’t give him the chance.
My eyes search for the tatted biker, and I let out a breath I didn’t realize I was holding when I spot him in Malice’s embrace. Malice’s expressions morph from anger to fear and back to anger. I know what he’s thinking. These men died way too quick, and he wishes their suffering could’ve been drawn out in The Confessional.
“W-w-we’re okay,” I stutter. “Thanks, ladies, for everything.” Phantom looks at me with a raised brow, and I point to my ear. “Coms,” I answer his silent question.
“We’ll let the club take over from here,” Diabla’s voice wobbles.
Soul marches over to me and gathers me in his arms, forcing Phantom to release me. “What were you thinking, Jez?” His voice is laced with worry. “We were… I was almost… I don’t know…”
“It was dumb,” I admit for the first time today. “Demon and Ineededto do this ourselves… for him. Besides you, Malice, and Grim, no one understands the hell Demon went through. I couldn’t let him do it alone, Soul.”
“You should’ve come to me,” he admonishes. “All of us could’ve come up with a plan that didn’t involve either of you ending up abused, again.”
“I was so determined to put space between me and the club, I didn’t stop and think,” I sob into Soul’s shirt. “It’s all my fault. I dragged Demon back into the fire pits of his own personal Hell.”
“The fuck it is,” Demon growls as he yanks me out of Soul’s embrace. “This isn’t your fault, Jez. All the blame rests at my feet… If I hadn’t been so consumed with revenge, none of this would’ve happened.”
