Story: Jezebel's Liberation
Glancing around the room, I take in all the shocked faces, and the silence that greets me is deafening. My sisters are all giving me a thumbs up, but all the men’s mouths are gaping open.
Fuck! You just claimedtwomen in front of the club. Shit… shit… shit.
Rogue thumps Soul on the back. “Damn, never thought I’d see the day when Jez would settle down.”
Thorn whistles. “Fuck, Jez, both of them?”
“That’s how you claim a man,” Delaney shouts. “Or should I say men?”
“Did she… are they… both of them?” Spike sputters.
“Dammit, Jez. I don’t want to see that shit,” Soul complains.
“You have no right to judge me, Soul,” I sass. “How many times have I walked in on you balls deep in some girl before Cece came along?”
Cece chuckles. “How many, Jez?”
“Too many to count,” I joke.
“Oh, really.” Cece cocks her hip. “Soul, is there something we should talk about?”
“Fucking hell, Jez. Quit starting shit.” Soul pinches the bridge of his nose. “For the love of everything unholy…”
Cece winks at me and snakes her arms around Soul’s waist. “I’m messing with you, caveman. I know you have a past. So do I.”
Soul growls before crushing his lips to hers. A minute later, they untangle themselves. “We might have a past, but that doesn’t mean I wanna talk about it. It’s only you and me now, babe.”
Cece leans into Soul’s chest. “Damn right.”
“How does that even work?” Possum asks thoughtfully. “Two men… I mean I’ve watched porn…”
I hold my chin up high, refusing to let these clowns embarrass me. Demon and Phantom stand on either side of me, silently offering support.
“Well, you see, Possum,” Abyss begins. “When a woman likes a man, or in Jez’s case, two men, there are numerous posit?—”
“Enough!” Soul barks. “If one more brother comments on my sister’s sex life, we’ll be having a party in the confessional.”
“He was just explaining the logistics for those not smart enough to figure it out,” Mel defends.
“Mel,” Soul growls. “So help me God…”
“Well, it’s true,” she mutters.
“You sure we should let this fucker prospect?” Malice asks, speaking for the first time.
I gasp. “What?” My gaze bounces between Soul and Phantom.
“Meet our newest prospect, sis,” Soul says smugly.
Phantom is prospecting for Saints Purgatory? That can’t be right. This has to be a joke.
“What’s he talking about, Phantom?” I demand.
Demon and Phantom both know I want separation between Hellfire Hackers and the MC. Not one, but both of them are going to be a part of Saints Purgatory now? What fucking alternate reality am I in?
Phantom shifts uncomfortably under my scrutiny. “I decided to prospect for the club.”
“Why the fuck would you do that?” All the lust I was feeling moments ago evaporates instantly.
