“No can do, Mr. Bossy Pants. I’ve got errands to run. I’ll meet you at home later.” I lifted up to kiss his cheek.

“Sounds good, sweets.” His eyes were soft as he brushed a kiss to my lips.

I put a little extra sway in my hips as I walked away. When I was almost to the door, I looked back over my shoulder and saw Jake’s eyes on me. “By the way…”

“Yeah?”

“I hope you don’t mind, but I couldn’t use that thing that got ruined while we were working earlier.” I saw his eyes drop to my ass. “I left them in your office.”

“Piper, get back in there. Now!” He stepped towards me.

“Nope. See you at home,” I called over my shoulder as I hurried out the door.

I laughed and turned back to pack up for the night. “Crap, I didn’t realize how late it was.”

“Ready for bed?”

I turned to Jake, laughing again at the tone of his voice. My laughter died when I caught sight of the bulge in his jeans. “Oh yeah.”

I took care of my nighttime stuff and put on one of my sexier nighties with no panties. When I got to my room, I paused at the door and looked at Jake.
