“Pick out another one, and I’ll buy it for you.” He took a folder out then tilted the bag, seeing the video discs. He pulled them out, then put the folder and the discs in his desk drawer.

Hearing she could pick out a new purse doused her anger as if a bucket of water had been poured on her. “I can pick out any one I want?” she squealed, bouncing off the desk to hug him.

“Go for it.” Kent dragged his tie back from around her neck. He just wanted her out of the office so he could look at the folder and disc drive.

“Thanks, Kent. You’re the best!” Before he could turn his face around, Livvy plastered her lips over his, snaking her tongue inside of his mouth. If he hadn’t wanted to make sure he had everything he needed on those flash drives and in the folder, he would have jerked his mouth away. Telling himself he only needed to play along until he got her out of his office, he suffered through her passionate kiss, even forced himself to give her a halfhearted response.

Squeezing her ass, he broke off the kiss. “Livvy,” he warned, “I don’t want Mrs. Boward to catch you and tell Garrett before you can get his signature.”

“You’re right,” Livvy admitted, reluctantly pulling away yet skimming a finger over his lips. “We don’t want her to see my lipstick on you, either, do we?”

Livvy’s eyes turned into slits. “Sage ever kiss you like that?” Her hand went to the crotch of his pants to grab his cock. “I can hardly wait until we get rid of our dead weight. Finally left the fuck alone, he inserted one of the flash drives into his computer. Scanning through the discs was painful. He could see why Garrett was having trouble in his marriage. He opened the folder and started reading through the file. The moment he found what he was searching for, a sanguine smile spread on his face.

A knock at his door had him closing the folder and getting up to unlock his door.

“Mr. Bryant.” Mrs. Boward handed him his briefcase.

“Thank you. I hope it wasn’t any trouble.”

“Not at all. How was your lunch?”

Kent frowned. “I haven’t had lunch yet. I was going to grab something on the way to the courthouse.”
