Story: Her Daddies' Everything
“Like a zombie,” Isaiah added. “A cute, sleepy zombie who wants cuddles rather than blood.”
“Sometimes there’s blood,” Sampson said. “Like the time that Abe tried to take her off Jenner so he could pee and she bit him.”
She’d bitten him? She didn’t seem the type to do that. Although she had a bit of sass in her, she’d seemed so sweet.
“She felt so bad about that,” Jenner defended. “She didn’t mean to bite him.”
“This happens every morning?” he asked.
“No, not every morning,” Jenner replied. “But quite often.” He rested his chin on the top of her head.
“She usually goes for Jenner, but the rest of us will work in a pinch,” Sampson said. “Now, back to the plans for the trip. It’s just three nights, then we’re back here. You’re sure you’ll be all right, Isaiah?”
“I’ve got this.”
Had anyone ever asked her if she was a Little?
“All right, so I think we have everything set. Tobias, you’re fine to stick with Immy?” Sampson asked him.
“Of course.”
He noticed that Jenner was giving him a strange look and that his hold on Immy had tightened.
If Immy looked at him the way that she looked at Jenner . . . well, Tobias wouldn’t hesitate to claim her.
He was in no way good enough for her. But that wouldn’t stop him. Tobias wasn’t the sort of guy who denied himself something or someone if he wanted them.
And while Immy wasn’t his usual type, there was something about her . . . hmm. This would take some thinking about if she was really what he wanted.
But if Jenner couldn’t pull his head out of his ass to see what was right in front of him . . . well, his loss could be Tobias’s gain. Then he would be the guy sitting on the chair with Immy wrapped around him.
But he’d damn well make sure that no other man was sliding her slippers on her feet or tucking a blanket around her.
Nope. Only Tobias would touch Immy if she was his.
She intrigued him. He was attracted to her. But that didn’t mean he wanted anything more.
“Good. I’ve got a few things that I’ve written down that you’ll need to know to take care of Immy.” Sampson went to slide apiece of paper across the table to Tobias, but before he could grab it, Jenner did.
Jenner quickly read it over. “Do you really think this is necessary?”
“You’re going to be busy,” Sampson replied. “He’s going to be with Immy and he might need this stuff.”
“But normally . . .” Jenner trailed off.
“Normally, we have Abe and Isaiah with us to watch her. I’m just covering all bases. We have to make sure that Immy is safe and cared for.”
Jenner didn’t look happy, but he nodded. Then he flicked the piece of paper over to Tobias.
Tobias read it over as Immy started to make noises.
“I’m going to go get her some breakfast,” Jenner said, standing with her in his arms.
“We’ve got to go soon,” Sampson said. “You’re due at a meeting downtown at ten.”
“They can fucking wait,” he snapped as he shifted Immy around so she was cradled to his chest.
She was so tiny that she seemed to fit there perfectly. And for a brief moment, Tobias thought he saw something like extreme longing on the other man’s face.
