Story: Gluttony
“Nope.” I grin, she doesn’t need more of an answer than that.
“Okay.” She shrugs. Again, jostling herself against me.
“Hurry the fuck up, Bowie.” It’s impossible to ignore her watermelon scent being this close and I begin to kiss the side of her neck as she twists a little to unlock the door.
“Alright, needy.” She giggles just as the door swings open and I push us inside without thought.
It’s then that my ass begins vibrating, probably one of the twins checking up on where I am, but they can wait their turn. Tonight, Bowie’s prepped and ready for me.
Well, not exactly prepped, but she’s certainly ready.
We continue kissing, nipping, sucking at each others’ lips and tongues, and her grinding against me gets more intense when we slam the door closed behind us. I’m quick to push her back up against the nearest wall, using the leverage so I can bring a hand around to unzip her coat.
My ass vibrates again…and it’s persistent.
“I have to get this, hold that sexy thought.” One more kiss on her now-reddened lips and I pull my phone from my pocket.
We have a rule: if we don’t pick up the phone, just fuckin’ wait until we call you back. If it’s an emergency, keep calling and we’ll drop everything and answer. None of us abuse this system and it’s worked for us for years.
I don’t actually drop Bowie, though. I like her exactly where she is, resting against my rock hard cock.
“What’s up, Hads?” It could literally be any number of emergency situations when Hadley is on the other end of the line, so I have no idea what to brace myself for.
“Someone’s been fuckin’ around with our computer systems at the office. It’s fuckin’ chaos and shit’s hitting the fan. So, put your dick away and come home. I need you to help me talk Hayes down from going on a rampage so we can sort this fuckery out.”
He doesn’t wait for a response before the line goes dead.
“Ah, shit.” Sighing heavily, I look into the eyes of the woman with her legs still wrapped around my waist. I have no doubtshe heard every word of what Hadley said, especially if the smirk she’s gifting me right now is anything to go by.
“Time for you to go home?” There’s a little wobble behind her voice, but she’s pushing out the confidence, even as she tries to make me put her down.
“Yeah. You’ll probably hear about it all on Monday.” I can’t resist kissing her one last time before lightly slapping her ass and letting her go.
“Do you need me for anything? I could come back to your apartment with you.”
I can tell by her closed body language that she doesn’t actually want to do that. Not that I would let her anyway. But I have other shit to deal with, so delving deeply into her thought process isn’t on my bingo card tonight.
“No, thanks. Enjoy the rest of your weekend, and…” I pause, leaning in real close to her so that our noses touch. “Don’t arrange any more dates with cowards.”
Winking at her, I then turn and walk out the door, wondering what kind of fuckery Hadley was talking about. Our computer systems are all relatively new, so hopefully it’s a minor glitch that we can figure out.
I guess I’ll find out when I get home, but if Hayes is already at the edge of a cliff with what’s going on, and Hadley is the voice of reason…I think I’ll stop by the liquor store first.
Chapter Thirteen
Bowie
It’s been three days and I can still feel Orion’s lips on mine. My body has a slight buzz from the heat of his touch as he held me, carried me, then slammed me up against the wall of my tiny apartment.
It never occurred to me that it would be so fucking hard to gain his trust. As much as I seem to have hooked him in that limo so many months ago, my showing up for a job put an impenetrable wall between us and I have no idea how to smash it down to smithereens.
As I sit in my office going through my daily chores, I’m still pissed that he had to leave. I thought I’d at least hear about what happened to their security system but the rumor mill is quiet on all fronts, which is unfortunate. Chances are, Mickey is behind whatever breach they saw but since he’s been MIA, without so much as a text to clue me in, I’m completely in the dark here.
“Hey, Bowie!” Jesus Christ, even Phoebe knows my real name?
“What’s up, Phebes?”
“There’s a delivery for you at the front desk. Looks like you’ve made an impression on someone.” I frown. What the hell is going on now?
“Okay.” She shrugs. Again, jostling herself against me.
