“And what if I don’t?”

I stuck my head inside and she jerked her head away. Every action she took was entirely too adorable in my mind.

What I’d already figured out was that I could easily lose time and my grasp on what I was doing here if I wasn’t careful.

“I don’t think you’ll like what happens, Christine. But you can try me and find out.”

She narrowed her eyes, offering a smile full of venom.

God, I wanted to fuck her right now.

As soon as I climbed in, she slowly turned her head almost as she’d done before, but I could tell she was plotting something dark and evil herself.

I couldn’t wait to find out what.

Once inside her apartment, Christine tossed her purse, immediately trying to skirt around me. I caught her arm, yanking her back.

“Not so fast. We need to talk,” I told her.

“I have nothing to say to you and if it’s alright with you, I’d like to get these disgusting clothes off my body. While it might be considered a luxurious perk in your line of work, it’s considered disgusting in mine.” She jerked away, taking a step backwards.

Why did she ignite such a roaring fire within me? I wagged my finger. “Why don’t you let me help you with that.” I grabbed the hem of her dress, yanking it over her head in a single move.

Shocked, she almost stumbled backward until I caught her arm, pulling her more gently this time.

“What the hell do you think you’re doing?”

“I’m teaching you that protecting yourself should be foremost in your mind.”

“You mean against evil men who randomly break into people’s apartments? I should have tossed you out the moment you did.”

Her defiance only kept me fully aroused. “Maybe you should have. Too late. It’s time to face the consequences.”

“For trying to get away from a madman?”

“Exactly.”

She continued the harsh glare and I tugged her with me as I sat down on her couch.

“What the hell are you doing?”

When I pulled her over my lap, she immediately tried to bolt from my hold.

“You’re not going anywhere.” I yanked her thong past her bottom and she yelped. However, I also heard a distinct, albeit a small moan. Yet like the feisty woman I knew her to be, she fought my hold, kicking out her legs and trying her best to punch me.

Wrangling the material free became frustrating so I ripped the lace off her body completely.

“How dare you!”

“I did purchase them for you.”

“You fucking bastard. I hate you and I’ll…”

She didn’t finish, but I knew exactly what she was going to do. My instincts were spot on. The second she opened her mouth to scream, I shoved her wadded and very wet panties into her mouth.

The shock of my actions stilled her actions long enough for me to bring my hand down against her bottom four times in rapid succession.
