I’m going to get my alphas back.

And heads are going to roll.

I walk into theirclubrooms while a party is in full swing. An alpha comes up to me, but I grab his ear and twist painfully.

He screams shrilly, and that alerts the rest of them.

They turn towards me, watching intently as the music turns off. I can see alphas close to me, their noses twitching, eyes getting big and dark, but they are too well trained to attack.

“I know Pack Dread is part of Despair.”

“They are not.” Someone calls.

I glare at him. “They are.”

Andy walks out, all swagger and inscrutable expression.

“The Cobras have taken Bailey and Pack Dread.”

Andy nods. “They aren’t club.”

I inhale through my teeth and lift up the phone. “Did you hear that, Lia?”

“I heard,” Lia says in an icy voice.

Andy’s face folds.

I glare around the rooms. “If you’re sure they aren’t yours?”

The alphas and betas look to their president.

I hold my breath.

Chapter thirty-four

Selene

I park a blockfrom his warehouse, knowing that I’ve probably already been clocked, and he knows I’m here. Reluctantly, I pull all my weapons out of my pockets and leave them in the car. I won’t have a chance to use them.

But I’ve got my own weapon.

The trick isn’t coming in undetected, it’s coming in so that they underestimate me and, boy, oh, boy, are they are going to underestimate me tonight.

The simmering heat in my veins turns to scorching lava. My incredibly see through, black lace, skin tight dress that only just covers my nipples and lower body has turned me into something no one has seen from me before. It sits tight until just below my ass and then flares out a bit because of a slit on my right leg, but it stretches right up and collars my neckline, leaving my arms free.

My heat is here. I’ve known it all day. I’ve felt it coming.

We have a plan, and, unluckily for me, I am the only person who can pull this off. I’m the dumbass walking into a den of criminal alphas who believe you take what you want and would rape the fuck out of me given half a chance.

But I have no intention of letting any of them touch me.

Not a chance in hell.

The sounds of the club’s music and alphas gets louder and louder. I get to the door and push it open. The massive security guard sees me and lets me through.

I’m already past when he catches my scent. I hear a deep guttural groan, and my heart explodes into a gallop.

Cutting myself and jumping in a pen full of hungry sharks would be safer than this.
